Have been enjoying slim chickens for years now. We drive over 50 miles sometime for food here. And up until this point is has been exceptional. Until today. Ordered a 10 tenders for my wife and myself and a 3 tender meal for the kiddo. Got out order and got in the road home 50+ miles north and our tenders are overcooked or the fry oil was old. Either way they were dark on the breading and dry. They were hot as always. Just not that edible the way they were cooked. I don’t know how they even were boxed and given to customers based on how they looked.

Walking in it’s just like any other of the branch. What I did not like is that for the last 3 times I have gone they are always out of sweet tea, the people attending are very unprofessional, the wings and fries are cold, and the wings in this case barely had sauce. Actually it looked and tasted like the sauce had dried long before I got there. Not sure if they can’t get decent help or management just doesn’t care. Only reason it fits as high rating as it does is because of the fast service this time.

Food was not like other slim chickens I’ve had. It was cold amd chicken was super dry. I asked for crispy fries and got oil soaked instead. Asked for sweet tea and got insweet. I was on my way to work so could not return. I just threw the whole thong in the trash. I did call and they said they would put down for a free meal but I don’t live here.

We looked forward to going here as we were in town visiting from Minneapolis. To the point of looking up their Arkansas history, franchise info, etc. Big Canes and Chik-Fil-A fans. Going to be back in two weeks so was looking forward to sharing again with family. Unfortunately, we won’t come back. Dined inside. Ordered 7-tender and 8-wing meal plus pickles and dessert. Ordered at 1:36 pm and got food at 2:11 pm. 36 minutes for fast casual concept? With a drive thru? Restaurant about half full. Drive thru a couple cars. Half people waiting for food with numbers at table. Don’t think Gilbert was there yesterday (owner operator good reviews). Tenders good, not great and not better than Canes. Pickles great, but real salty. Wings terrible. See oil in picture. Strawberry jar great. But I will never revisit a fast casual concept that makes me and others wait 36 minutes. Especially at 1:30 pm.

So it was my first time here. The restaurant was clean but the employees were not very friendly. I ordered a chicken sandwich and breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms were watery when bitten into and the chicken sandwich was VERY salty. My daughter said her tenders were not bad but took a bite of my sandwich and agreed it was way to salty. I may try this place again in the future in hopes that I hit them on a bad day and will update if I do so but my 1st impression was less than worth the price.

I drove an hour just to get my children Slim Chickens because it is their favorite and I wanted to surprise them. I ordered 3 meals of the 5 and 5. Got home to discover the meals only had wings!!!! Most expensive 15 wings I have purchased! Tried to call the store several times because they forgot the chicken tenders and was hung up on 3 times without anyone even saying hello! Absolutely a terrible experience! Never again!!!

First time ever coming to this place. We each had the Tender Mac and Cheese bowl and were not disappointed. First, the customer service was very impressive. A somewhat younger staff, but all cheerful and seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing.
As for the bowl, the Mac and Cheese was really hot and creamy, and the chicken was not overly breaded or greasy.
It’s too bad were getting back on the road inthe morning. Definitely would eat here again.
