This was my second visit to a Slim Chickens, and it solidified my opinion: this place is a winner. Located in Appleton, WI, this fast-food establishment offers a surprisingly tasty and satisfying experience. The restaurant itself is clean and operates with a counter service model. On both occasions, I’ve been able to walk right up and order, with a minimal wait time for my food (around 10 minutes this visit).
I opted for the wings again, and they didn’t disappoint. The buffalo sauce had a distinct, almost orange hue, which was different from what I’m accustomed to. However, the flavor was excellent – a perfect balance of tangy and spicy. The french fries were also a standout, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My only slight disappointment was the mac and cheese. While the flavor was good, it was served lukewarm, which caused it to cool down quickly. Had it been served hot, this would have easily been a five-star experience.
Despite the mac and cheese temperature issue, my overall experience at Slim Chickens was positive. The food is consistently good, the service is efficient, and the restaurant is clean. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

First time at Slim Chickens. I ordered tenders and two different types of chicken sandwiches. I thought it was good and the prices are reasonable. They have a lot of custom sauces, which I think is key to help bring out the flavor of what people are looking for with chicken. Not only that, they do crafted desserts that were very popular when I was ordering. Service was great. Overall, I would come back, especially with the desserts that looked outstanding.

I was told about this restaurant and I’m glad that I tried it. The food was great, generous portions for the price. There are a lot of options for almost anyon, from wraps, sandwich to tenders and chicken. Salads and desserts.
Great staff that was helpful and they were fast.
I recommend this for anyone that is looking for a chicken place with a drive through that is not KFC.

First time, man no jokes here. I got the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich and it almost burnt me to a crisp in the most flavorful way possible 100/10. One of the best chicken sandwiches ive had and for a really good price. I think all my hopes and dreams are fulfilled for the time being.

I have liked there food never a problem and today the GM went out of his way to personal remake my food & deliver it. I ordered first through Uber eats and first the Uber driver gave me an entirely wrong order from a whole different place. Then never came back with my order. So I called and explained what happen and the GM was shocked and then did what he did! I’m a very grateful customer truly best customer service

Food was great definitely spicy. Sauces were good most places don’t have the best sauce but I like these ones. For some reason I wasnt expecting the tenders to be smaller but also work perfect for the price so can’t complain since other places would charge like 17.99 or something.

We decided to try it after seeing the bill board I 41. Fast, friendly amazing service. Food was absolutely delicious.i had mac and cheese tender bowl and hubby had chicken strips and fries meal, we got a shake and dessert jars. (We couldn’t eat it all) We will be sure to eat here again next month when we come to Appleton again.

My very first visit that was also my last . Placed my order via drive through and proceeded to wait nearly 20 minutes , with 5 cars in front of me. Never moved. Can’t rate the food or service because I drove off. Should change the name to slow chicken. Went to Chick-fil-a instead , in and out in less than 8 minutes.
