Slim Chickens was a wonderful experience for my family! They have the best Chicks Meals! My favorite sauce so far is the Cayenne Ranch! The chicken was cooked fresh the fries were hot, salty, and crispy the perfect combo! But lastly, was the outstanding customer service!! It was an experience packed full of Southern Hospitality! A premium chicken establishment, Slim Chickens provides higher quality food in a clean, laid back atmosphere. Booths abound and a couple of guitars hang on the wall, this place is comfort with a bluesy southern style. The food is quite tasty and I totally recommend the inferno sauce if you’re into spice. The Oreo jar dessert is amazing. While a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. Definitely a place to go for birthdays or maybe even just a time to treat yourself. The chicken club sandwich is a good place to start if you don’t know what to order and the lemonade is to die for. If you’re in West Lafayette, that’s definitely worth trying.

A complete knock off of Canes. The food is terrible. Avoid it at all costs. The chicken is dry, fries are soggy, and their signature sauce is just 80% sweet ketchup with some mayo or at least tastes like it. Their “Texas Toast” is just a regular toasted bread. Even if its 11pm and its your only option, just order taco bell or kfc, cause this aint worth it

Was not very impressed by the food. Chicken and waffles had very little syrup on it, and it was just very dry. Chicken was moist and had good, crispy breading. Not mind-boggling. Fries were the best part. They had good seasoning. Wanna try their jar shakes, but don’t know when I’ll be back. Good alternative to Chick-fil-A on a Sunday. I will say that the service was extremely friendly and quick despite how insanely busy it was. Good hiring.

Even though the place is small, its food is super good. I liked the wings the best. It’s hard for me to find a good wings place in Lafayette and this place comes really close to it. The chicken and waffles looks so good and will probably try it on my next time.

Today’s visit, was the first time, stopping by Slim Chickens. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and employee’s were very professional. I’ll stop again. I’ll have to try out the chicken & waffles, they look good. The cayenne ranch chicken is what I tried out, very delicious.

Chicken was so similar to Buffalo Wild Wings but not that good. Chicken was so dry and not worth it. I’d rather go BDUbs. The dessert was too sweet for me. It just like eating a spoon of sugar. The tap fried pickle was better.

I ordered 5&5 meal to go but there are 4 wings, one is missing. Plus, we ordered ranch and slim sauce as dipping sauce but found out they are not in the bag. They also messed up the tossing sauce for us. It was also hard to find a clean table in store.
