I’m leaving a review because I was delightfully surprised. We had just spent all day at a car dealership across the street and were too tired to go to a restaurant.
We picked Slim Chickens because we wanted something fast, but what we got was not a fast food experience. Our server Robin was pleasant, the food came out quickly, and everything was freshly made.
We didn’t get old, dry wings with some sauce on it. We got freshly prepared, well sauced, plump, thoroughly cooked wings and crispy, tender chicken fingers. The fries were also crispy and hot, and unlike many restaurants, they managed to do this all together! Everything was so good, I even ate the Texas Toast bread which I seldom eat.
The only downside was that the inside was an icebox! But fortunately, it was a night that was comfortable to sit outside.
Also the pricing began to approach casual dining prices, $30 for two, but they earned it.

What a cool place! I love the chicken fingers cooked to perfection. I have no idea how they keep them so juicy! Looks like I have a new favorite fastfood chicken joint! Oh and nothing beats the Slim Chickens logo!

Favorite chicken place for me and my daughters (16 & 20). Food always comes out fast and hot – love their fries and the wide variety of the sauces. Staff has always been friendly and helpful and everything is normally extremely clean. Great place for a chicken strip meal!

Great deals and great service, we was a first time visitor and got a deal on the website for 25 tenders for 25 bucks. We got a few sides and was well worth the price, got plenty of fried pickles for 6 bucks and fries and Mac and cheese. The interior was very clean and the staff was patient with us and very nice.

This is the only place that does not allow you to order food on the app and pick it up at the drive through. You have to park, then go inside and pick it up. I prefer places that provide a more convenient ordering process.

I was extremely disappointed with my order. The chicken wings were not good at all. There were visible feathers still attached to one of the wings. Not just a couple, but enough that you couldn’t miss them. This was placed right on top like it was okay. That alone is unacceptable.
I asked for my wings plain with sauce on the side, but the wings themselves had no flavor and the texture was very off , rubbery and too light, almost like it wasn’t real chicken. I couldn’t even finish it because I honestly felt sick. On top of that, the Texas toast tasted old, cold, and shriveled. It didn’t taste fresh at all.
Also, one wing was not fully cooked. You can see the blood in the picture. That is a huge food safety issue.
This meal made me feel nauseous . I wouldn’t recommend the wings at all. You have been warned.

Went through the drive through on Wednesday to get the chicken and waffles which is discounted on Wednesday. Drive through was busy for a 10pm visit. Took about 10-12 minutes to get through it. Typically it costs above around $10.49 but it’s discounted on Wednesdays only to $7.67 including tax. It also comes with a medium drink. I think the meal is a bargain. The chicken tenders are good. The waffle was a little disappointing. I like a crunch to my waffles and this one was soft. I suspect it was kept warm in some sort of steam table. The waffle was already cut up into 4 sections. Margarine and maple syrup was supplied. Overall for the discounted price, it was a good meal.

Food was ok. It was cheap though. 2 meals, $15. Chicken sandwich was good, chicken could have been more done in the middle. Solid meal, just nothing special about it. Fries had no seasoning at all but cooked well. Took a long time in the line and one young man was collecting cards running all the way back to window then coming back. That can be done more efficiently. Maybe a mobile card reader would help

This visit offered a less than exciting offering. Breast size could have been a bit larger but the breast was cold and it was clear by the speed of delivery it had been made earlier in the day. Additionally the texture was less than exciting. Previous visits the chicken was tender, today firm and tough bite. For a 1115 am lunch expected better. The fry’s were plentiful and tasty.
