This was my first visit to a Slim Chickens and I wasn’t really impressed. They workers were friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but sadly the food wasn’t too good. The wings were not sauced enough and cooked oddly, sort of hard on the outside, but spongy on the inside. I liked the fries and toast, but others in my family didn’t like the toast. My wife had a salad and the lettuce was sort of watery. The other had chicken tenders and they were just so-so. We also bought some dessert and I was disappointed with my milkshake. Others had “jar” desserts which were better, but they were sort of expensive. All in we spent about $75 for dinner and dessert and I didn’t feel like it was worth it. I’m glad I tried it, but I won’t be returning.

This spot was fantastic and it all started with the manager Tyler. I’ve worked in customer service over 10yrs and very rarely do I find people that match the happiness and love for there job as I do… Tyler was exceptional. Patient and understanding with the willingness to make sure my first experience was top notch. Now to the food. The chicken was juicy and crispy with excellent flavor while the fries were cooked perfectly. I’m shocked with my experience and I can’t wait for this chain to make it to SWFL! Highly recommend 10/10

The guy who gave us the order didn’t even acknowledge when we said thank you … , anyways , thankfully the chicken tenders were delicious! As were the fried pickle chips . Glad we tried it. Very similar to Raising canes but not as good

A first visit for three hungry women who had just enjoyed the park. Extremely clean cheerful restaurant with good feel, kind greeter, server and cashier. Relaxed setup and atmosphere. Portions good and we all enjoyed our meals. Delicious chicken and the fried pickles my first try, a must! 5 Stars ~ We will come back again

I came here based on reviews. I’m disappointed. I got the 6 piece wing combo and a grilled chicken wrap to go. The wrap was good. My combo, however was a different story. My garlic toast was cold. My fries warm. My 6 wings was nice at first taste ( I ordered the mango habenero flavor), but tough and under cooked. I think the best thing I had here was their raspberry sweet tea, which had the perfect sweet taste. I believe it is brewed in house and doesn’t have that generic fountain drink taste. When I was leaving I was given a free brownie.
This restaurant is extremely clean, service is quick and staff is very very humble and kind. I really wanted to enjoy the food here, I didn’t!

As my first time there I didn’t know what to order, my food looked exactly like how it is on the menu screen. I got the chicken wrap and it was delicious but the ranch is far beyond delicious, the BEST ranch EVER!!!!! I will be coming back and I will go all the way to Sarasota for it.

I really hate to be leaving a negative review, especially since I used to like this place. But recently, I’ve run into a few issues worth sharing. First off, the new spicy chicken strips just aren’t it. In my opinion, it felt like little effort went into the recipe—it was basically just an overwhelming amount of dry, ground hot pepper rubbed onto the chicken. I enjoy actual flavorful spice and can handle a lot of heat, but this just didn’t taste good to me. I tried it once and decided not to get it again.
Where things really went downhill was when I placed an order on DoorDash while I was sick and just wanted a regular meal. I ordered the normal hungry meal with a milkshake (which was good) and a salad (pretty plain, but about what you’d expect for a fast food side salad). The problem? They gave me the spicy chicken instead of the regular one I ordered, and my Coke never even arrived.
When I tried to request a refund through DoorDash, it was denied automatically by the system, and I wasn’t able to get any resolution. That was extremely frustrating.
So overall, I’d just recommend ordering in person if you’re going to eat here—double check everything before you leave, just to make sure the order’s right. Mistakes happen, but it’s always disappointing when there’s no real way to fix them.

We truly enjoyed our food and desserts at Slim Chickens. Their Buffalo Mac n cheese bowl was tasty, my son loved their chicken tenders & my husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The garlic bread was toasty & tasteful. I tried their strawberry cheesecake jar and my husband their Oreo cheesecake jar and both were sooo good! They come in a glass jar with their logo. My son had the Oreo milkshake and really liked it. We will definitely stop by again on our way to siesta key beach. They should open one up in riverview or Apollo beach
