Our visit to this slim chickens location was very good. The associate that helped us at the counter was very pleasant, courteous, and polite. However, the shift lead/manager on duty needs additional leadership training in my opinion. There were several people at the order counter, she felt it was necessary to disrespectfully engage the order associate at the counter with a very rude tone in front of all the customers. The counter associate was still very polite and responsive to her demands. However, this was very unprofessional behavior, and I could tell that it bothered the associate who was doing his job well. The food was fresh and hot. The dining area was clean and kept and the overall experience was good. My only area of concern is that too many restaurants, hire for leadership positions based on having food industry experience rather than hiring people who have good leadership ability. This was at lunch around 12:15pm.

So, I usually don’t like to complain in the first review I do of a restraining, but this has to be brought to attention. I’ll get straight to the point.
One of the employees used a plastic utensil to scratch her private parts while in the dining room area. I was sitting with my family and she walked around the room looking around at the tables. She picked up some discarded things off a booth and then walked to the trash cans next to the front counter. I don’t think she realized my mom and I could see her in plan view because she used the utensil in her hand to go down her pants and itch in her crotch region. Then, THANKFULLY, she threw away the utensil.
SHE DID NOT WASH HER HANDS!!!!!!!!! She simply ‘adjusted’ herself (i will not go into further detail, I’m sure you get the picture) and zipped up her pants.
Then proceeded to take incoming customer’s orders and hand them their cups and she touched the to go orders too.
When we talked to a manager she barely seemed surprised, and just said “oh well she’s on her way out”
We are NEVER coming here again!
These people should be ashamed! This slim chickens is next to TWO SCHOOLS!!! CHILDREN GO THERE TO EAT ON LUNCH BREAKS!
If that woman is willing to do that in front of a room of people, what kind of things is she doing away from watching eyes?

I live coming here, they have some of the most consistently great Chicken in the area. Tried the new Spicy Tenders. They were really great. If you are familiar with the Golden Flake Sweet Heat chips they have a similar flavor just spicier. The staff was polite

Just swung through the drive thru – Brandon, I believe was his name, took our order and I have to say that was the most enjoyable fast food experience I have had in the panhandle. Kind, knowledgeable, patient and goes the extra mile (thanks for the tip on ordering the sauces!)Lol he said he just started, they’ll want him running the place soon I’m sure! We live on the beachside, but I’ll trek out here for service like his! Thanks, Brandon!!

Very clean, friendly staff and some of the best hot fries I’ve had in a while. Had the Buffalo and Nashville hot sandwich. I hate to say it, but where’s the chicken! Also made to order was not what we got. I had a couple of tasty but cold onion rings on my cool sandwich.

Staff refused to accept $3.99 six piece tossed and sauced promotion that ran 9/15-9/17. I went through the drive-through at 5:35 local time. They treated me like I was completely wasting their time even though this was a National Promotion. I showed them the ad and they still refused to process the order. They didn’t bother to ask if they could help me in any other way and made me look like a fool in front of other customers.
Update: manager contacted me to make it right and invited me in for another meal. Food was fresh and came out fast, restaurant was clean, and staff was friendly. I’m not sure what happened the first time but the Sunday afternoon crew knocked it out of the park!

I decided to stop in for lunch at this location. As I stood in line waiting for my turn at the counter, I noticed a young man at the register doing his job. For some reason, the manager on duty started to speak to him in a very disrespectful tone while there were guest at the cash register, which I feel is very inappropriate. The counter associate was very polite, kind and courteous, and did not deserve being talked to that way. Especially in front of customers. The food was good and the associate at the counter took great care of me. However, the manager at this location needs some additional training.

Great quality and value. Very clean oil, juicy not greasy, well seasoned, boneless chicken bites…someone knows how to season, prepare and fry there. The dining room was very clean and staff were smiling and upbeat!! I will be back!!
