This was my first visit to a Slim Chickens. I am so impressed. From the very polite and friendly man working the drive thru window to the delicious moist and juicy lemon pepper chicken tenders including the hot and fresh French fries. It was a great experience. I will be recommending this store to all my friends and family members. Im sorry I should’ve taken a pic of my meal. Next time.

Finally was able to get to this place since they opened. I got the 5×5 meal while my wife ordered the 5 tenders meal. We got an order of the pickles and the mushrooms to try and grabbed one of their desserts for later. The appetizer items were pretty decent: pickles could be thicker but otherwise good. Tenders were ok: nothing super special but not bad. Wings were actually pretty good. Fries tasted good too. Wife got Mac and Cheese and it was cold. Like room temperature cold. Not great flavor either. Sauce wise they have a wide variety. Their slim sauce was disappointing but their garlic parm sauce was amazing and would go great on wings. Overall I would rate this a 3/5: not bad, but not my first pick for a chicken tender meal.

I got a 12 piece, 2 sides(lg macaroni ) (French Fries warmed over) and toast warmed over. Chicken strips took a 15-20 minutes (1st car) in line waiting last night 12/7 around 5 from the North Monroe location Tallahassee Fl. It was definitely not worth money or attitude and no apology for taking so long. I really feel I wasted money and it’s hard to recommend that quality and service. Absolutely everything you want out of a chicken joint. Tenders are juicy and the fries are seasoned just right! I appreciate that they offer fried okra and fried pickles. If you upgrade your cup to a large then you get to keep your plastic cup!
They have a place to sit outside as well as indoor seating. We went within their first week so there was a bit of a wait, but it was completely understandable. The staff gave great customer service.
We had one in Arkansas so I was super happy to see we had one move to Tallahassee. It’s better than Chick Fil A and Zaxbys hands down

What the hell kind of slim service is this. I put in an online order. Says it’ll be ready 10:55. Show up at 11. Had one dude in front of me in line. 11:20. Been second in line for 20 minutes no notice no nothing. But then I heard that Uber eats be doin deals or some shit so they be getting slammed. I called the phone the lady was rude but shit I felt bad honestly. Y’all gotta calm down with these deliveries man shit be cold go pick it up shit. Lady was sweet at the window in the end. Food is good but y’all gotta find a way to like lemmie know how long I be waiting for shit damn.

With so many chicken restaurant options, its hard to stand out, but Slim Chickens does just that! Their chicken and Mac bowls are ridiculous good, and filling! They also have great sandwiches and wrap options. We had the fried pickles on the side, and they were delicious. Customer service was ON POINT. Helpful and friendly, engaging staff. Great place for a quick bite worth your $$

I’m amazed at how polite the employees are who work here. They are willing to do customizations and make me feel like a valued customer. I also like the double drive through. Of course, the food is incredible. It doesn’t even taste like fast food.

Finally, we got to check out Slims Chicken. It was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon, and we got in before the lunch rush. We got the 7 piece box with original slim sauce. Everything about the food was just ok. The chicken was juicy, but the breading was flavorless. The slims sauce we got was cold, but I’m not sure if that’s normal. Given that it was cold, it had a sweet taste compared to other chains’ sauces. Not our jam. The fries, toast, and lemonade were the stars of the show. Which is kinda sad because they weren’t spectacular either. All in all, it’s our least favorite chicken chain in the area. The food was ok, it didn’t get us sick, and the combo was enough to split for lunch.
