Randomly stopped by on a Friday afternoon and sat at the bar. I ordered a variety of wings and drank some Guinness on tap. Their wings are excellent a damn near endless variety to mix and match. They don’t have pool tables or darts so that’s kinda a bummer

The buffalo parmesan wings were fantastic. The shipyard pumpkin beer served with cinnamon and sugar rimmed glasses was also fantastic. I couldn’t have picked a better random restaurant to grab dinner after work. I may go back tomorrow and try the cherry pepper wings. Prices were also good.

I came to Sliders on a Saturday at 12:30pm with a friend. It wasn’t very busy at that time. We sat in our booth for at least 20 minutes before a server came to us. We ordered drinks. I was given the wrong drink, which has happened 4 times now at Sliders… How hard is it?!? The wrong drink that was originally given to me, sat at the table the ENTIRE time we were there.
Anyways, we wanted to play Keno and asked our server for some slips. We had to ask a 2nd time, because we were forgotten about. We were finally asked if we’d like to order food after 40 minutes at the table. I ordered 10 BONELESS wings and was given 10 BONE IN wings. My friend asked for 6 bone in wings, ALL FLATS. She was given 4 drums and 2 flats. Our server never used his note pad and honestly he should if he’s just going to get the order wrong every time.
After we got our food, we wanted to play another round of Keno, but was told that we had to go to the bar and give the bartender the paperwork. Why? We didn’t have to do that the first time. I ordered 10 boneless wings to go and made sure I said the word BONELESS three times. They arrive and WOW, they are half the size they used to be and for the same price! Why have the wings gotten so much smaller?! Unbelievable!
Honestly, this was the worst experience I have had at a Sliders and that is saying something because last October, we had a server who legitimately never came to our table. We had to ask another server to help us because he ignored us all night. Sliders has gone downhill. The customer service is crap. The wings are half the size, for the same price. And they always get my drinks wrong (I order a hard apple cider every time and somehow get given a beer or some other cider flavor every time!!). My friend and I will be finding another place to go to lunch from now on. Too bad too, because Sliders used to be great.

I was contacted by the General Manager a couple days after my visit. She was very nice and apologetic. She offered to give me and my friend a full refund on our visit. She mentioned doing this more than once in our conversation. Several days later we received only a partial refund. I reached out about it and have heard nothing back. Maybe if she stuck to her word, we’d give this place another chance. As is, we will not. It’s too bad, because the food is good, but the customer service… Not so much.

Recently met up with friends for wings. The atmosphere was great. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite team play, great beer selection and plenty of wing choices. Food seemed a bit on the greaser side but may have been attributed to the volume of people at the time. Despite being busy, waitstaff was very attentive!!! Overall good experience!! Would consider returning and giving them another try!!

Walked in right after happy hour on a Saturday which seemed pretty chaotic. The host didn’t take long to get us seated, however she had to personally clean our table first.
Ordering was okay but felt a bit rushed and impersonal.
The food had flavor but the execution was mediocre.

We used to visit the Sliders in Plantsville allll the time in high school, but once we graduated and went to college we didn’t get to come as often. We took a walk down memory lane and came back, and they are killing it! There’s several new wing flavors and menu items that caught our eye, and everything we had was fantastic! The nachos were especially great – we always appreciate when there’s plenty of toppings and layers of it with no bare chips. Sandwiches, wings, and drinks were all great! They were doing trivia when we were there too. Everything was clean and it was a nice vibe. This visit really reminded us why we always loved Sliders, and we’ll definitely be adding it back into our rotation of local places!

The only thing I love more than the wings (Buffalo Blue or Honey Garlic all the way) at Sliders is the staff. They are attentive, fun, and seem to truly care about making customers feel welcome. In fact, when we have a bad service experience at other bars or restaurants, my girlfriend and I joke that “We should’ve went to Sliders!”.
Great place to watch a game, hang out with friends, or just grab a quick bite to eat. There are plenty of places around, but this is always my go-to.

The food here is great in the wings are top-notch. It’s not the fault of the chef that the layout is not very good you can be put in a corner away from people and it gets kind of sad.
Get the Puccini type things they make with tater tots. I do not miss the trufflao wings, and the maple bacon bourbon flavor. Those two are the best. And if you don’t listen to me at all that’s fine but I have one piece of advice get the wings well done- you will thank me later.

I visit a friend who, lives in Southington, several times a year. Without a doubt this is our favorite place to go!!! Great beer selection! Fabulous service! Very attentive! We wanted to watch Uconn women’s basketball. They found a quiet corner for us and put the game on! We got our beers quickly and ordered a variety of wings and sauces. I’m a huge wing fan, but…. they’d better not be undercooked! And, they never are here!!!! UCONN won a runaway!! Food and service was fabulous! I wish I lived closer (I live in Agawam, Mass)!! I’d be here 4x/week!!! LOL. My only complaint is that the woman’s bathroom was 35 degrees!!!!!!! See you again in a month or so!!!!❤

Jeremy has been one of the most consistent bartenders I’ve experienced since going out to the bar. It’s very obvious he truly cares about the patrons that go to his bar to have a good drink and great conversation.
