I heard about this place all week because last time I flew out early and missed the brunch trip. Let’s just say it did not live up to the hype. We waited 45 minutes for our food. When we asked about it, our server nonchalantly said he’d check on it, without apology and as though the thought never occurred to him. My huevos rancheros was fine, nothing to write home about. One in our party got a lukewarm burrito. And someone else was served the wrong dish. It did look like it had a nice patio, though.

Local Hidden gem small business. Old historic bar and restaurant in the stockade district. Their sandwiches are known around the area as some of the best. Huge, generous portions of sliced in-house deli meats that easily top 1lb per sandwich. House made macaroni and potato salads are on point as well. Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I am now officially hooked and this is my new local sandwich spot to take friends and family.

This really is a hidden gem. Just what I expected amazing sandwiches that deliver a punch and great selection of beers too. I think this will be a regular go to for me. I like that it was no frills but quality meat really makes this place stand out. Great place to go for lunch. The clam chowder was excellent. Can’t wait to return.
