We stopped into Slick Lips for happy hour, Monday through Friday from 3 to 6. I ordered a dozen oysters and they were outstanding, fresh, cold, and easy to finish. My wife got the beer cheese and pretzel, and we added fried pickles for the table. Everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and perfect for happy hour snacking.
Service made the visit. Fast, friendly, and attentive without hovering. This is an easy repeat spot, and we will be back.

The food was delicious. The oysters were fresh and the Cesar salad was fantastic. The crab crusted grouper was good. The waiter brought the wrong fish of the day and took so long to come back that we just ate it. The waiter staff Adam seemed really busy and distracted by all the tables he had. Food was still good but not so great service.

Happy hour is awesome with $1 raw oysters on the 1/2 shell and decent house wine at $2.50 a glass. The two of us shared 18 oysters, 2 glasses of wine each and had the best most affordable pregame meal of the trip.
The server said that they make absolutely everything in house from everything that is fried to even the desserts. We recommended to people that we met on the trip and they got back to us and let us know that they had an outstanding meal there as well with fried oysters in two different varieties.

Pleasantly surprised by the food and service at Slick Lips! I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was great and service was fast. The chargrilled oysters were very good. Mahi Mahi tacos and crab crusted grouper 10/10.

Oysters are always fresh, the shrimp basket is breaded and fried perfectly, and the catch of the day nicely prepared. The beer taps are fresh and the music and vibe very comfortable. Super clean spot makes it a 5+ star.

Amazing service & GREAT food. So much flavor and great portion size. I love my mom’s gumbo and this gumbo was JUST like my mom’s. The roux was the perfect color and flavor. My husband had the fish tacos they were great as well. AND the fries were delish.

We enjoyed the oysters. The food was good, I just wanted more of it. I needed a large size portion of snapper. Everything was seasoned well. The customer service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery and the people walking by. This is definitely a nice place to come to if you’re in Destin.

I had the Key Lime Snapper and it just left me wanting more, there were 2 orders of fish tacos and one Burger.
The only carry out bags were for the two kids

A remarkably average dining experience overall. Service at the table was ok- only downside was we had reservations and we were greeted rather unexpectedly rudely at the front, not sure why. Maybe she was having a tough day. Regardless, the oysters were pretty good as an appetizer, and the dishes we ordered all tasted pretty good. For the price point and all the extra fees not sure it’s truly worth it though. There’s a ton of stellar restaurants in the area that don’t have all the extra fees associated. Overall, there are worse choices. But there are also better choices. Cheers!

Quiet establishment tucked inside a private community that allows outsiders to patron their shops…for a fee. There will be an additional fee charged to every check to cover you entering, so this is your warning. Chargrilled Oysters were good but did require hot sauce to add flavor. Gumbo on the Happy Hour menu was top-notch per my sister’s standards! BBQ shrimp were sooo good, but on the Happy Hour menu you only get a few so be warned. Drinks!!! Enough said our bartender Julia had a wonderful spirit and knew how to pour a drink.
