If you’ve ever had A Slice of NY in San Jose or Sunnyvale, or Slice House by Tony Gemignani, then you’ll LOVE Slice Project’s NY-style pizza. The Lil Pep is the epitome of pepperoni and the Supreme is LOADED with super fresh ingredients. We got it to-go and it was piping hot.
Some of the best pizza in the Bay Area! And they’re really nice too.

I ordered the 313 Detroit pizza. If you like deep dish and pepperoni you’ll love this. The cheese, sauce, base, herb toppings were all amazing! The ranch is also pretty solid and they charge 75 cents for a cup. I was pretty hungry and felt full after 2 slices (squares.)
I would definitely come back and try a New York slice.
The service was awesome too. I wish I asked for the woman’s name who rang me up and brought my food over. She was awesome and very polite.
I look forward to eating here again when work sends me down here in 3 months ✌️

Excellent thin crust pizza. Good selection of local beers. The staff won us over with their service too.
We plan to add Slice Project to our regular rotation of restaurants.

The jlo pie had a pleasant crunch, had quality meats and was overall very delicious. The 313 Detroit Pizza was robust and heavy as intended. Additionally I splurged for a black cherry float, and highly recommend this place.

This is the best pizza place I’ve found in my seven years living in Santa Cruz county. The dough is incredibly fresh, perfectly crunchy, and absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! The service is great, the music is a vibe, and its a family-owned business… So, if you’re in the area, you HAVE to stop by… trust me, you won’t regret it!!

This is the best pizza in the central coast. Period. The team that run this place are amazing, young guys showing the west coast how to do pizza. Honestly, I travel 40 minutes to eat here – all the pizza spots are overrated in Santa Cruz – go here instead and support this top local Watsonville family run business

This place is great, the pizza is the GREATEST Detroit style I’ve had in my life. The pizza slice costing $5. The drinks are $3, a little to much but the assortment is perfect. (Just a little note, ive never had Detroit Style before, and its my first time, but it was Style great!)

I grew up eating slices of the good stuff in NY and the pizza and the vibe here really brought me back to Carlucci’s! The owner said he tried dozens of pizzas in NY to find the recipe and man is it NY pizza. No place else in this region comes close to this delicious NY style pizza. Soooo good. And the booths bring back vibes from my childhood in the NY pizza joints. The service was so friendly and they keep it super clean. Get a slice for just $4 or get the humongous whole thing for $30. Highly recommend!

Legit NY / East Coast style pizza — nothing nearby really comes close, including in the bay area. The crust was definitely elevated compared to stereotypical NY pizza pizza, nice and crispy on the bottom. Great sauce flavor. Got a cheeze stack and lil pep slice.
Also got the Red Top Square Pie regular size. Proportions were perfect, was extremely light for a Detroit.
Will definitely be making future trips down. This place is destination worthy.

This place is so legit – tried out the Detroit Style pizza and man I was blown away. Every bit was amazing from the balance of sauce great cheese and the crunchy crust . Craft beers available are on point. Brando and Kristian are genuine and friendly as heck . I came from Phoenix to experience this place and was just taken to a another level. When we walked away – my experience felt like it was my birthday. Thanks Sencion Bros for your care for quality of ingredients, craft beer and experience!!!
