So I had heard about this place before but had never come in. I decided to get some food here for the wife and I. I’ve tried many pizza places out and I figured I would try this new place out. I ordered a pizza and some buffalo chicken egg rolls. I like the decor and the atmosphere of the place. It is definitely a nostalgic throwback to my childhood. But, the price for the pizza and the egg rolls was almost $40 not including tip. The cashier was very friendly the food looked decent but when I tried it with the wife, the pizza crust itself had no taste whatsoever. It was like biting into cardboard. And after eating the pizza and egg rolls, my body has been passing gas for the last hour. Not to give too much information but I would give this place a C because the quality and the price was not worth it to me. I probably will not order anything from there again. The sad thing is definitely the place had promise because of the nostalgic throwback twist. Also the buffalo chicken egg rolls cost almost $12 for three of them. Not worth it.

The pictures show what I ordered vs what I got. It was some prime false advertising. All I could taste was pickles even after removing the pickles, like it was drenched in pickle juice. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a decent pizza. Also I paid $28 (including processing fee, delivery fee and tax) for a 14″ large pizza, which is pretty small for a large pizza.

Nice people, ordering in person was chill and not rushed.
Their pizza hits the spot, but neither is it anything to go out if your way for.
Dough is crispy and chewy despite not having any gimmicks to how it looks.
Cheese and toppings quality are fine. And mix really well together.
Only complaint I’d have is the marinara dip sauce is too simple. Makes a great dip, but it is missing any nuances beyond being tomato forward and chunky. But I guess that makes it more refreshing as a dip I guess? There wasn’t really anything wrong with it.
Place is a little spartan, but I enjoyed my order.

So far this is the best pizza I’ve had since I’ve been in this area! It was fresh and tasty and the toppings were plentiful! The butter garlic parm crust was pleasantly aromatic, yet not overpowering in flavor. I liked the thick slices as it felt like I was eating a full meal. The small was enough for me to eat three slices and be satisfied. I ate the other three slices the next day and it was just as good. I look forward to ordering again!

First time getting pizza from them and omg I am obsessed!!! Crust was absolutely perfect and they didn’t charge for an extra topping and it arrived piping hot. I got the Mac and cheese pizza and then it was like “want to make the other half a different specialty pizza?” UMM YES!!! Burger with perfect pickles, So many toppings everything was perfect, this is my new go to spot!

First, make sure you’re calling the right location! I made the mistake of calling the wrong location but the service is outstanding!

We also ordered The Trilogy, SO GOOD!! The sauce is delicious!!

I read the reviews and got pretty excited when placing my order. It was my first time ordering here so I kept it simple and got a cheese pizza with a side of ranch.
The pizza was average. Nothing about it stood out, it was perfectly cooked, and presented well. The ranch was above average, definitely better than anything you buy from the store. As any ranch lover who lives around here knows, we are blessed by having multiple options for amazing homemade buttermilk ranch. And this ranch, to me at least, was 1 or 2 levels below our other top tier options.
I’d definitely eat it again if it was put in front of me, but it will never be something I go out of my way to order.

I’d like that location is convenient if you live in Waterford. This is really easy to get to. It’s a carryout spot so there’s nowhere to eat inside there. I like the theme of the restaurant. It’s very 80s when you walk in. From the posters on the wall to the t-shirts on the back wall. It’s fun. The pizza box design is also pretty fun. When I walked in I was immediately greeted so the service was good.
The pizza is good. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had but I wouldn’t mind adding it to my rotation every couple of months. We ordered the trilogy which has three kinds of pepperoni on it and we liked it. I ordered ours well done because there was a lot of meat on there. I probably wouldn’t do that again because it was almost a little too done for my preference but it was still good. I think it was a good value as it was $19.99 for a large before tax. I do want to try the pickle pizza eventually. Next time I’ll also try something on the crust because it was a little dry. The pizza was good enough that I’ll be going back to try other things.

I seriously only give 5 star reviews for a very small and extraordinary group of restaurants, hotels, services etc. I have to say that the Slice Of The 80s, Totally Awesome Pizza, is just that… totally awesome! My family genuinely love our little slice of pizza heaven down the street. The dough, the toppings, the sauce and cheese is absolutely out of this world! They have a great and unique selection! Plus don’t forget the service! They’re quick, professional, and very accommodating. Solid 5 ⭐️’s!!!
