We also offer a full café menu with breakfast favorites like avocado toast, scrambles, burritos, and bagel sandwiches, plus lunch and dinner options including sandwiches, salads, mac and cheese, lasagna, and soup with garlic bread. Marci and Slice of Heaven was amazing to work with for my wedding cake! They are hands down my favorite sweets and goody shop around – everything they make is so tasty! I reached out regarding ordering a cake for my wedding and was able to set up a tasting, where my husband and I were given cupcakes in several flavor combos we were considering. We also were able to talk to Marci and discuss options, pricing, and what we were interested in. Not only did she communicate well and follow up, but the cake was above and beyond what I hoped!! It was beautiful, delicious, and none went to waste. Highly recommend!!

This is our second year buying a cake for Christmas Eve from Slice of Heaven. We choose a vanilla, orange flavor profile and it was delicious! We had 30 guests which it served easily. No one touched any of the other desserts!

It was ok. We went here as a group. The raspberry strudel was good. The cupcakes tasted like the refrigerator and were not good at all. The snickers bar and the strawberry cheese cake bar was good. The 3 layer cake with strawberry filling was delicious but the frosting was uber thick. Nothing really exciting and I need to tell you to rush right over and get something. It was ok. My cousin is a bakery so I know what pastries are supposed to taste lake. This one missed the mark.

I don’t review, but had to for this! We were beyond happy with our 1st experience ordering a birthday cake from Slice of Heaven! I’ve tried two other bakeries in Bham for past events, both of which delivered cakes/cupcakes that looked great, but were both very dry, which is crazy considering the price. I was hesitant to try yet another bakery, but Slice of Heaven produced not only a gorgeous cake, but also one of the most absolutely delicious ones we’ve ever had! Now I just need more practice at slicing them properly ☺️ Needless to say, we found our go to bakery for now on. Thank you!

I ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday with rather short notice. Marci was extremely flexible and lovely, and so quick to respond to emails. I sent inspo pix but asked her to just be creative. I ordered the Blackberry Bavarian Cream cake and it did NOT disappoint. Not only was it gorgeously decorated, but it was the best cake any of us had ever had. Sweet, moist, the cream was rich and delicious, and the icing was smooth and delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will be back here for every event I need a cake for from now on. This cake sent my mom’s birthday from great to incredible.

Came here for my wedding desserts after several inquiries around town looking for mini cheesecakes for my wedding. They pulled through and I ended up going with them for all our wedding desserts and cake! Everything turned out so beautiful and was DELICIOUS. We went with mini cheesecakes, lemon tarts, and regular/gf brownies. I still think about my cake to this day. THANK YOU!
