First time we ordered from here (yr ago) was a learning experience. Second time (mths ago) was to prove how hilariously bad the pizza was to our guests for laughs.
I’ve avoided leaving a bad review because its obvious that the fault lies exclusively on the owner/s. The staff were always really nice and tried their best with what little they had to work with.
And the sparse selection at the convenience store up front was incredibly handy to have so close to us in a pinch, like whenever there was inclimate weather.
Now that appears to be permanently closed (front door is always locked) even though it’s advertised as open online.

The pizza was a soggy disgusting mess. It was uncut, the bottom was soggy and stuck to the bottom of the box. We ordered a Greek salad…. It came with lettuce, course cut slices of mozzarella and sliced tomatoes. I see all of the reviews below and it seems pretty consistent. I wish the “owner” would stop leaving generic answers and actually fixed the issues. No way this place is open next summer with the current ownership and quality.

We have been using Sam’s pizza for delivery and food service for a long time. Recently we haven’t been able to get anyone to pick up the phone but today they did so I was excited. I asked for the chicken quesadillas appetizer and the person I was speaking with on the phone said let me check if we have grilled chicken ready. I can do fried for you. Which I did not want. Then stated they did not have any grilled chicken ready. Which I didn’t understand because why can’t some be cooked. Are these orders not made to order and why can grilled chicken not be made if that’s what the customer asked for and that’s what you sell on your menu. Very confusing. So is fresh food not being served here anymore and can grilled chicken not be made? That’s what I’ve always ordered with no issues not understanding why it’s a problem now.

This place is going downhill fast after changing ownership multiple times – food isn’t as good. Not prepared well. Lack of attention to detail. Seem to be perpetually understaffed. Have eaten takeout from here for years – these are significant, noticeable changes. This isn’t a sour grapes review.

This place is HORRIBLE. Their phone disposition leaves much to be desired. I placed an online order and mistakenly ordered from the wrong location. I called the location to cancel my order and get refunded my money. I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to call Slice their online service. I called Slice and after a brief hold was told that Sams told them not to refund my money!! Even though I placed an order at the correct location and called and told them of my error. I called back to Sams and was rudely told “what do you want me to do” before I was transferred to another gruff gentleman who told me that he already made the food and there’s nothing they could do. I will be contacting my banking institution tomorrow morning and will NEVER give this company my business again!

This place is simply amazing. When I visit new places I always look for customer service and this place passed with flying colors. Besides customer service the food was AMAZING, their pizza is out of this world fresh and hot! I tried the Greek gyro pizza and let me tell you it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating. If you’re ever in the area give them a try i promise you will not be disappointed.

Great small town take out greasy spoon with a wide variety of offerings. Noted that for those avoiding carbs they now have a cauliflower crust pizza! I had the chicken cheese steak and a cheese pizza before that, both were very good and friendly service. Located right next to the firehouse and steps from the Potomac.

I was out exploring the area around Fredericksburg, VA and stumbled upon this cute sandwich & pizza shop. I stopped in and ordered a turkey club from the menu. The menu stated the price was $7.49. The total, however, came out to $9.28. I told the hostess she overcharged me and she said they raised the price to $8.49 but they haven’t printed new menus yet. I asked that they honor the $7.49 price until the new menus are printed. She refused. However, even with a price of $8.49, the $9.28 total still did not make sense because the sales tax there is 5.3%. $8.49 + 5.3% (or $0.45)= $8.94, not $9.28. The hostess could not explain how she arrived at the total, which gave me the distinct feeling they were cheating me. I then canceled my order.
The only honorable thing they did was refund my money immediately. For that they get one star.

God, this place is great! I screwed up dinner tonight and they saved me by filling the order late. Thank you guys so much!!!!
Best pizza in our area. Drivers are alway nice, toppings are fresh, and the cheese is fantastic! Sandwiches are amazing as well!

Recently moved to the KG area from Fredericksburg. I was thrilled to learn that Sams was opening a shop in KG and that I would be able to enjoy their food once again. Got the pepper steak and cheese with fries and onion rings. My food arrived hot and fresh with the same great flavor I have always enjoyed. The driver was prompt and courteous. Very good experience.
