You can smell the delicious food from outside. We got a sicilian pizza and it was amazing and super thick. I could see the chef took time to cook it and add more ingredients as it cooked. Most places just put it in until done…this place added and the taste was phenomenal. The girl behind the counter could have been a bit more friendly and inviting but we will definitely be back. We ordered for takeout. The pie was a bit pricy but the size of the pie and slices much bigger and thicker than average pies so very worth it.

Very good pizza. Everything looked delicious. At the end I selected the true and tested slice of Pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint. Beer and wine is served at SOB. They also have a coffee bar on the premises that looked to be promising for LAL (late afternoon latte).

A shell of what it once was. Although, the food is fresh and warm, but lacks flavor and is especially greasey. I’m not sure if it was an off day for the sauce or if cheaper ingredients are being used. I used to love this spot when I lived in the area, but this is not the same taste that I remember.
Staff also was not on top of keeping the tables clean and half the space is now dedicated to sale of pre-made / store bought food/ cookie meant to be used as Christmas presents.

Very cute and cozy atmosphere. I went in early for a coffee and after asking for what I wanted more than once, the barista got my order wrong. I will go back again for lunch or dinner because it looks like it has potential and seems very welcoming.

We stopped in for dinner tonight and brought our pup along since there’s outdoor seating here. Food and service were exceptional. The whole family loves Marcello’s so we had high hopes for Slice of Brooklyn and we were not disappointed. Slice of Brooklyn.. more like Slice of Heaven. Today I went for lunch and I had their steak sandwich on homemade bread. The sandwich is to absolute die for. The homemade bread is baked to perfection with a nice crisp outside and a soft center. You can tell the steak is high quality meat and very juicy. This has to be hands down now my favorite steak sandwich anywhere. If you’re in the area I highly recommend trying it for yourself and the restaurant. They do a lot of fundraisers for animal shelters like SAVE. Friendly owners and staff. Great brunch options. Great coffee. Nice outdoor seating so you can enjoy your meal with your dogs. They also have a doggy menu!
