Worst Calzone I’ve ever had. But I am comparing to what I’ve had in NYC and Washington DC. It was tepid and the inside mushrooms and sausage were cold. I mean COLD….. I ate 1/4. They forgot my drink. I had to ask twice. I was the only patron. Then families came in. One with a toddler that had only one volumn; LOUD The dining room has no natural sound buffers so EVERY noise bounces off every object. I got a to-go box thinking when I got back to Jonesboro I’d reheat it up. Wrong- still the worst calzone I’ve ever had.

I had the Iralian sandwich and it was really good. They obviously use quality ingredients. However, the room was so loud that our table couldn’t even comfortably speak with each other. To be fair, we were there during the lunch rush.

Pizza crust was burnt and the sauce or cheese had a tang. The chicken salad was greasy and felt like the frozen fajita type meat you buy at Walmart.

Terrible food. There was nothing fresh on the “one trip” salad bar. The steak tasted freezer burned. Service was zero.

We had a salad and it was very crisp and fresh! We had wings for appetizers and they were so good too!! The pizza was truly top notch!! We had an Italian sausage pizza and a supreme pizza and both were excellent!! Fast, friendly service with a wonderful atmosphere!!! Highly recommend!!!

I was very happy with my first visit to Big Fella’s in Des Arc. My husband and I both like their food a lot. It’s so nice to have another food option in Des Arc! We get tired of having to drive long distance just to get a decent bite to eat.
My husband ordered the chicken strips, they were so good that we went back and ate there again today! We both ordered the chicken strips this time. Thanks Big Fella’s!
EDIT: Got food to go from there today. My husband and I go there to get the chicken tenders because they are amazing. Well, today they were completely different. Different texture, taste, everything. Not that good. I hope they go back to the way they were before.
Update on August 13th, 2023:
So the chicken strips have changed, but they’re better than they were during the visit I mentioned above. I’m keeping my overall rating at 4 stars because it is a little pricey. BUT I will pay for it because it’s very good.
