This was my first time having slice house and I absolutely loved it. I had the grandma crust and it was phenomenal. I definitely plan to come back here. This is gonna be my new Pizza place. I am so happy it’s right next door to my office. And what a great addition to Porter Ranch

Had the Motorhead slice. Detroit style with meat toppings. It was delicious, every bite so good. And that’s saying something since one slice is so filling. Favorite Detroit style. The crust reminded me in all the best possible ways of the old school Pizza Hut pan style when they brought it to you in the still hot pan. But the toppings here are just miles better.

My first visit to Slice House: high noise level difficult to hear server and make order. I ordered the Classic NY. The pizza, it could have been cooked a little more. The crust was not crispy. The pepperoni is (in my opinion) overly generous the sausage not so. I would like to see more sauce on the pizza.
Otherwise, my experience was OK

While I’m disappointed about Baja Fresh (don’t judge me… I grew up in LA in the 80s & 90s… so maybe it’s nostalgic)… I’m excited about Slice House coming to PR. Slice House is a solid addition to the growing NY slice scene in LA. I’m still partial to Prime, but Slice House is solid. And they have a good salad as well.

I feel like this review will be a temp placeholder for a proper review to come later as I don’t think Slice House put it’s best foot forward when I visited.

I came in at 8:45 and their kitchen was already shut down as they closed at 9pm, so it stopped me from trying any fresh pizzas and I had to rely on the slices they had left over in their display case. There was cheese, pepperoni, a couple hot honey flavors and the Gino.

We tried a slice of cheese, pepperoni and the Gino and it was as we expected for pizza slices that had been sitting out. Their display case isn’t warm, so they throw the slices into the impinger ovens to heat them up. Their pizzas have a bit of sweetness to them, I’m not sure if it’s in the dough or the sauce but it’s def it’s own unique flavor.

I can imagine that these pizzas taste much better when they are hot and fresh out of the oven, so I will reserve final judgement for the next time I’m there.

Their pizzas are pricey, in the range of $23 or so and up and slices are $6-8 each. The restaurant was clean and spacious and does a better job with that space that the old restaurant that was there.

I have been looking forward to this place opening up for a while, so I hope I get to try it again and update my review.

We were so excited to try Slice House Pizza in Porter Ranch after friends kept recommending their other locations — and it did not disappoint!

My husband picked up a large pepperoni pizza, and let me just say… it was HUGE. Definitely more than enough for two people. One slice for me was more than enough — the slices are true New York–style, big, foldable, and generous.

The pizza tasted incredibly fresh, delicious, and authentic. You can really tell the quality is there. Perfect crust, great sauce, and just the right amount of toppings.

Next time we’ll probably go for a smaller size so we can try more varieties, because we definitely want to come back and explore the menu more.

So happy to have this spot in Porter Ranch

Pizza had great craftsmanship and was really good! The house salad and garlic bread were very very average, absolutely nothing special. Will be back for pizza only next time!

Came in today for the grand opening and was blown away. The place is well set up, the staff is on point, and everything ran incredibly smooth for day one. You can tell this team loves what they’re doing. One of the best grand openings I’ve been to. Porter Ranch is lucky to have this spot.
