Well, I’m out on the road in Cali today, baby wanted burgers so we searched, and what did we find? Woo, a diamond! I mean, it’s just burgers and fries, right? Wrong! That Wild West burger was huge, fresh, made to order, hot, tasty, yeah, real good. You could taste all the flavors. The sweet potato fries are a must-order. I don’t think I’m eating regular fries anymore because of Slauson Grill, real talk. And the lemon pepper wings? Fire! Burn your tongue, fresh and hot, seasoned to perfection. Most definitely a must-stop if you’re in the Los Angeles area. I’m stamping this spot. I will definitely be coming back.
And I advise everyone to pull up.

Fast & Friendly service. This casual eatery is in a small strip mall on Slauson & Overhill Drive & there’s a few parking spots available on site. They played good throwback R&B and soul music. The value was amazing ! I had fried shrimp , greens, yams , and it came with cornbread. My food was packed in to-go containers, but unbagged it and ate at the restaurant. All of the flavor was good.
The shrimp were bite size, not large shrimp. My only suggestions would be for the batter to stick on the shrimp more and the cornbread wasn’t sweet. I’d def come back and try some other items from their menu, thanks for the friendly service !!

Great,friendly atmosphere. The food is flavorful and served hot.. I enjoyed the BBQ beef sandwich and Chili cheese pastrami fries.. Nice filling portions.. Can’t wait to try something else. Definitely a “foodies” friend..

Ok, here’s a hidden gem i found, and OMG worth every penny! The first thing that made me step in was the word “Deli” in the name of the restaurant, it has a modern build but somehow kind of cozy. Not many tables, but it didn’t seem to be crowded, also they do a lot of take out. My son and I had never been there so we went “classic” and got a burger, we got two Hangovers, to be exact. These babies have patty, cheese, tomato, pickels, lettuce, CHILI!, EGG!, and BACON!!!!!! I’m sorry vegetarians, you are missing out! Another thing I noticed is that their pickels were particularly delicious, they seemed home made to me! They also serve a variety of wings and tenders, and they even have a daily special. Today the special was a shrimp platter….I wish I could have tasted that too! They also had watermelon- jalapeño chicken i wanted to try……next time! If you happen to be in the Inglewood area, STOP and have a meal there. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food.

While visiting in La La Land, a friend of mine suggested this eatery for some unique sandwiches. They certainly didn’t disappoint with a huge selection of Po Boys and Heros, along with a ton of other options.
The restaurant is New York deli style with little seating except for window bar area and a small two person table. I wouldn’t go expecting to find a place to sit depending on the time of day or just get it for take out.
Now for the important stuff… the food. We had the Hot Link Po Boy and the Shrimp Po Boy. The Hot Link was a greasy and delicious pile of sausage and perfectly tender crisp peppers and onions. The Shrimp was was loaded with tender fried shrimp and they provided a nice spicy oil to pour over.
The bread was good and we ordered some Cajun fries as a side. The fries were hot and crispy and seasoned well.
All in all, super good place and would recommend:

Come on holiday from UK and on our last day we found this place, couldn’t fault anything at all the food was 11/10 by far one of the best burgers I’ve eaten never mind just in California. Would highly recommend everyone to stop by✌

I experienced the Surf and Turf bowl. When I tell you I have never moaned while eating WHEEEEW the salmon was tasty and had a little kick the sausage and shrimp added more flavor to the rice. We also had a shrimp and oyster Po boy sandwich. That was tasty as well.
