Finally, we got around to eating at Slater’s Pizza. We’ve heard great things about their food, so we had high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with the two pizzas that we got. The Hawaiian was a “build your own” and the Supreme was exactly that. The handmade dough adds a nice touch. Everything thing is done fresh, you can tell by watching them make it and by the taste! They also have something that is in the next go round. The sampler, where you can choose any three pizzas and the will cook it in 3″ sections. They’re still renovating, so setating is a premium; the atmosphere is what’s on the agenda.

Wow. Slaters pizza decor may be a work in progress their food is fantastic. The garlic cheese bread was the best! Their thin crust sausage pizza was delicious. Lots of big sausage pieces over a rich tomato sauce and crispy crust. With a real pizza oven this place does it right. Next time you think about pizza give this locally owned business a try.

Don’t be fooled by what it looks like from the outside. I was skeptical at first but thought what the heck, let’s go for it! It was under remodel and not the best but the food was excellent and the owner was great to talk to and find out her passion about making pizza. Tried the Iowan and a regular pepperoni and cheese pizza. The were freaking amazing. The cheese was gooey and the crust was crunchy. Definitely was not disappointed by the food.

Ordered tacos and boneless wings, asked to leave lettuce off of two of the tacos but they put lettuce on all of them and left off tomatoes. The tacos were bland with hardly any flavor. Out of a twelve wing order we received 8 and then crumbles from what look like was the bottom of the bag.. I won’t order from here again.

I’ll be back! Crust, not super thin or thick pan like. Good change from Pizza Hut or Casey’s. Pizza dippers have nice butter, garlic and cheese combo with flavorful dipping sauce. Taco was delicious, next time I’d ask for it to be cut in slices over squares but that’s a personal preference.

I got the Greek (Gyro) pizza, it was delicious ! The crust was perfect, a great crunch but not too crunchy . The flavor was delightful, I can’t think of anyway it could’ve been better . The staff were very friendly as well. I’ll definitely be back and recommend to others!!!

Pizza was very good. Thought the wait time was excessive but they WERE very busy. The phone never quit ringing. Had an issue watching them prepare food tho. Food prep was done with bare hands(where were the gloves?) And I only saw one employee frequently wash their hands between tasks
