It’s unusual… But a good unusual…

Amanda the bartender is simply amazing she is a true mixologist! She can probably make you anything that you’re looking for! She is the one who creates all of the specialty drinks for holidays and such!

The corn ravioli was really good but it’s not served like you would normally think it would be. They seem to be going for a very high dollar looking plate without the price. I would definitely get it again and you can eat the flowers!

The peel and eat shrimp is not what you think. The shrimp comes with heads on and it served in a bowl with a gumbo type soup. It is pretty good but it is a lot of work!

The lemon sherbert which is made in-house is very good but it leaves a weird film in your mouth. And yes you can eat the flower too!

We will definitely be back! The atmosphere is very cool and the prices are not outrageous!

One star, and honestly I’m still trying to figure out what business this place is in.

We walked in and the restaurant was completely empty. Not “quiet for a Tuesday” empty… I mean ghost town empty. Meanwhile four employees were gathered around the bar deep in conversation like they were hosting a podcast about ignoring customers.

Not one person acknowledged us walking in.

Eventually we got seated, which I assume interrupted whatever critical summit meeting was happening behind the bar. Service never really improved from there.

The food showed up looking like it had been prepared by someone who had only heard rumors about cooking but never actually tried it themselves.

The best way I can describe the place is an IKEA showroom. It looks nice from across the room, but the closer you get the more you realize it’s mostly decorative and not actually meant to function.

Plenty of seating though. Probably because nobody stays.

On the bright side, if you’re looking for a quiet place to sit alone and contemplate your life choices, this place absolutely delivers

I had an amazing experience here.My bf and I & my two kids were hunting for a spot, and everywhere were so full. Happen so I randomly picked slates cause I was starving. Im so happy I found this place. The food was astonishing , servers were on point & the atmosphere was a breath of fresh air very relaxing. Let’s not forget how clean it was. I’ll definitely be back during dinner time cause brunch on sat didn’t disappoint. 10/10 highly recommended.

Visited for the first time for my birthday brunch today. The food and drinks were decadent and beautifully made. Highly recommend the charcuterie board and Boudin Benedict. The stake and potatoes were fabulous as well. Cannot wait to return!!

Checked this place out for a date night. We started with off menu, ceviche. Awesome, perfect spice with a little creaminess. Tried the beef stroganoff and my wife had goddess pasta with shrimp. Both were delish and beautiful preparation. The stroganoff with the perfectly cooked medium steak was fantastic. We finished off with milk and cookies and the berries and hot honey dessert. I’d pass on the berries and hot honey. It was just some blue berries and hot honey over some rice crisps. The milk and cookies were fantastic with the Baileys cream and milk. I highly recommend and we will be back another time to try more.

Yesterday I went to dinner at this wonderful place, and although it’s 30 miles away, I’ll definitely be back soon. There’s parking available. The entrance is elegant and has a small area available for photos. Inside, the area has an elegant style, perfect for enjoying with family, friends, or as a couple. Yesterday, our waiter, Lane, served us. He was kind and respectful, and even though English is our second language, he was very patient and communicated well with us. The food is exquisite; I give it a 200 out of 10. I ordered steak, and even though it was cold, the flavor of the meat remained the same. The wine is exquisite, and there’s 2X beer available. We’ll definitely have to go back.

Our visit here was pleasant. We tried the cheese pizza for an appetizer. It has the next elevation of taste rather than an ordinary cheese pizza. We enjoyed the beef stroganoff, I thought it needed a little salt but my sons enjoyed it as it was. I got the hamburger and was happy with my choice. Nice flavors! My daughter had no complaints about the spaghetti. My son got a pasta dish and added chicken to it. I think he was expecting a saucy type of pasta but it wasn’t. Overall, we enjoyed it.

OK Once again The Slate Table did not disappoint. OMG! I ordered something different, as I usually order the fish tacos because they’re the best. However our waitress Mariah and I decided I needed to try something different, and boy an I glad I did! I ordered the steak stroganoff, my husband ordered the chicken fried red fish, we had happy hour drinks. I had the Aston Martin, and he had a martini. Anyway WOW! Just WOW. The chef Jason doesn’t just cook, you’re not just a number. This man cooks with love and pride, and you taste it in every bite. My husband cannot stop talking about the fish, says it’s the best fish he’s ever had. My was beyond good. A must try. I cant wait to go back.

Every bite was delicious. Just enough innovation to make it special, just enough traditional to make it comfort food. Had the cauliflower bouquet with the yummy vinegar powder, the apple chop which is massive and has lovely tart apples on top, and the lemon head dessert. Didn’t finish any of it, but I’ll have the best lunch tomorrow. My server was enthusiastic and helpful. Great vibes—even the other customers were friendly.
