My husband wanted to eat Sea food so bad and this restaurant has been on his view for a while.
First of all I have to say that the food surprised me for good. The salad that I chose was huge, amazing and flavorful, my husband cheeps were very yummy and with the sauce completed the whole thing. My husband loved the burrito!
The environment is really great to hang out with your friends, family members and enjoy the food without rushing. I’m definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Very different style of seafood that was quite a nice departure from the usual burgers or Mexican that we tend to gravitate towards. Enjoyed the bowl we ordered. Sauces were hit (slap sauce) and miss (sesame soy sauce). The service and knowledge of the staff were great. We will be back, we want to try more on the menu.
Edit: we went back and I got the signature Fish & Chips. It was delicious. With the fish being tender and flaky. The fries were good but there was an odd aftertaste that I couldn’t quite place. I’m not sure whether it was coming from the fries or the fry sauce. For as little food as I received, I felt it was quite a bit overpriced, even though it was a tasty meal.

Fish and chips portions were tiny and salty. Coleslaw had no taste at all. Fries were great! For the price I would say quite underwhelming. My friend liked his bowl. I won’t be coming back.

We were a little scared to try it when we walked in, because there was only one other group eating in the restaurant and the prices seemed steep. They are totally worth it, the breaded cod in the fish and chips and the fish tacos was really excellent. I was really surprised at just how good the food was, especially the fish tacos. Will definitely be going back if they keep cooking like this!

I often forget how much I enjoy fish tacos and Slapfish is an excellent reminder. They have a simple menu that always you to pick the meat of your choice, the way you want to enjoy your food (taco/bowl/etc), and the sauce, and I don’t think you can go wrong. I went with classic grilled shrimp tacos with their Slap sauce and was blown away by how fresh and tasty it was. I can’t wait to go back and try the other sauces to match and mix a little more, especially since the location is a quick drive to and from the freeway and they have a good amount of parking. Though I would be wary of peak hours as I imagine this is a pretty tight parking lot during the lunch rush.
The staff here was friendly and helpful giving suggestions and favorites, plus it’s a bonus that they got our food out super quick. I noticed that they were especially polite and quick to clean up tables as other guests left.

This place has really good sea food. The fish, shrimp, and lobster has always been great in all of the dishes I’ve tried. The lobster “surf n turf” burger has SO MUCH lobster on it. The shrimp burrito is packed and will be messy when you eat it, so don’t forget the napkins!
The drink selection is a standard fountain machine. I enjoy my fish with tea, but it is not available.
The fries are crisp and I love them.
The tables are sticky and feel dirty. They look clean, but if you catch a glare they look dirty. We didn’t go when it was busy so they’re either not washing them well enough or that’s just how they are.

I was impressed! I didn’t expect too much to be honest. But I got a salmon salad and a side of brussels sprouts and I really liked them both. I got both an herb dressing and a vinaigrette for my salad, on the side. They don’t have limits on how many dressings you can try at a time so I got two out of the five options. My salmon was cooked perfectly. I liked the array of vegetables. The french fries were pretty good as well. And my friend liked her sandwich. I was impressed with the amount of options they had on their menu. Just a good variety. Not too many, but several things look yummy. I’m told their fish and chips are amazing. Give it a try!

Love the vibe and look of this place. Clean lines, modern set up, not overly decorated. Employees were nice but lacked any enthusiasm. Food took a little time to come out, but was within reason.
We were a little surprised that everything came out in to-go containers and bags. When we mentioned that we would be dining in the employee said, “Well we close in 30 minutes and we don’t want to do any more dishes.”
I can’t decide if that’s just lazy or genius. As an employee it sounds genius. From the employer standpoint I’d be embarrassed that we didn’t provide a consistent dining experience. ♂️

This place is good, My brother and I dropped about $90 on lunch because we wanted to try so many items. I brought the fish and chips home to my wife and even though she had to reheat them she thought they were awesome. This is a chain but they have gotten it right.
