I ordered The Slap yo mama Burger with slap yo mama it’s definitely was worth the travel from St. Pete to Tampa. My wife order fish and shrimp and it was slap yo momma worth. We enjoyed sitting inside their eating area, nice and cool. Only issue was the wait time the gentleman working in the truck seemed like he was by himself and extra person would help the wait time. But food was delicious worth the wait, that gentleman had great customer service skills and looking forward to returning

We stumbled upon this food truck when we stopped into the adjoining building and we are so thankful we did! We ordered just the egg rolls but the man working the truck was kind enough to toss in a side of Mac and cheese just for us to try! It was all so delicious and we ate it all! Their punch drink is also incredibly refreshing and hits the spot after a day in the sun. Thank you so much for a great meal, service and your generosity!

I order Philly cheesesteak egg roll meal with lobster fries and wings and shrimp with Mac n cheese. I was given 10 wings with regular fries and 4 mini egg roll side. And wings and shrimp with no side. When I told him my order was wrong he stated that is what he charged me for. He did give me the side of mac n cheese which honestly I should’ve went without. The egg rolls were delicious but the wings were cold taste like they were cooked hours ago. Taste like they were frozen then dropped straight into the grease. Would not recommend.

I’d give a 0-star rating if I could. Terrible customer service experience today at Slap Yo Mama. I received NO FOOD after paying in advance.
I PREPAID for a “Surprise Bag” through an app called Too Good To Go. The app is designed to prevent food waste and the pickup times (which are controlled by the participating restaurant) often happen around closing time. Upon arrival, the manager was YELLING “WE’RE CLOSED!!” repeatedly, from across the parking lot. When I replied “I know” he stated “oh, you’re the pickup order?” and I said yes. He begrudgingly walks from the storefront to the food truck and then tries to collect $75.08 plus tip from me after putting a few bags on the counter. I said there must be a mixup because I prepaid. He yanks the food back and dismisses me by telling me to ask for a refund through the app. “I don’t know what to tell you” and “I don’t want to hear your complaints” are the managers exact words. He has ZERO PEOPLE SKILLS and an idgaf attitude.
I DROVE 25 MINUTES, EACH WAY, TO BE SERVED NOTHING BUT ATTITUDE.

Upon my first time today, trying this restaurant I had ordered food through an app called too good to go. This app is designed to prevent food, waste and restaurants close you can go there for five dollars and get a surprise bag of a bunch of stuff that would’ve otherwise been thrown out. When going to the front of the restaurant, I was immediately greeted with attitude from the staff, who acted like they wanted nothing to do with me, and give me no food whatsoever. I ended up walking away with four wings and mac & cheese, and for 20 minutes it was a waste of my time entirely because I was anticipating on getting an actual portion. I think it’s obvious that they didn’t want to give me any food, because they only gave me for drumsticks instead of any flats whatsoever

We went today for 1 dollar wings we ordered everything was fine I WAS WAITING FOR 2 hours for the guy to tell me they ran out of chicken ????? Then he tells me I have to wait for them to pick up more chicken??!!! Worsts business I ever dealt with horrible customer service and horrible interacting overall very unprofessional I asked for a refund he said “that’s against are policies” horrible place 0/10 I highly do not recommend

The garlic Parmesan wings were not as advertised on the instagram page I tasted no garlic and a hint of Parmesan and the were dry but the lemon pepper mild were perfect and for the Mac and cheese it had potential to be really good but the noodles were over cooked and the burnt pieces in it really didn’t help the customer service was good until I went back before leaving to inform the cashier about the garlic Parmesan wings she was nice about it but the cook seemed to had an attitude and I think purposely remade my order wrong I asked for another lemon pepper mild when asked what I wanted to replace it and I got home it was over cooked lemon pepper wings I was soo mad I threw them in the trash SMH ♀️
