The staff was warm and welcoming, but the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I tried the Cuban sandwich, and with all the rave reviews calling it “the best ever,” my expectations were high. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The sandwich was overloaded with deli-sliced ham, and the pork was more of a thick, unappealing chunk—not what I’m used to. That said, it wasn’t bad, and I’d definitely come back to give something else on the menu a shot.

Good fresh made sub sandwiches with authentic Cuban bread, but appreciate that you can turn any sub into a salad! The Cuban as a salad was great and their prices are reasonable too. Cute decor with indoor seating but bring a jacket!

A GREAT find on our little road trip in Georgia. A pressed roast beef with authentic cuban bread from Tampa. Ybor City blue crab cakes with Crystal hot sauce! In the middle of Georgia, no less! She’s doing it right!

I feel like slammin Sami’s is a small gem. It was my first time eating there and I must say the Cuban I was well made and delicious. It was actually better than the one I’ve had from Florida made by actual Cubans. And the black beans were amazing too. Good music and ambiance as well!
