This is a local restaurant I pass by during my travels. My god this breakfast meal I had was delicious. I’m sorry but this local restaurant puts IHOP to shame. It tastes natural and fills my belly. I haven’t tried lunch yet but I’ll get to it. Give this place a try and it’s budget friendly. Unlike the greedy corporation chain. And the staff are very professional and kind. (Also beware, if you decide to dine-in the lunch or breakfast rush there might be a wait.)

What a joke I send my guy in there to get food. They say they stopped cooking at 1:45 it was 1:47 2 minutes past their cooking time they say no we can’t do nothing for you. The food was great. Large portions and tasty. Very busy. If you have time restrictions, call ahead. It’s worth the wait. Small spot, cool decorations, and parking is few. You won’t regret stopping in. Breaking lunch.

The first time, we ordered and picked up and was DELICIOUS a Provolone Smash Burger and Turkey Bacon club. They were full, but the service was excellent. We definitely will try more of the menu. They are cash only, and we ran to an ATM ♀️

S&L has been a Lakeland tradition for over forty years. You can get a great cheeseburger and fries for under $10. The burgers are fresh of the grill and made to order. You can call ahead and pick up your order, too. The service is very friendly.

We have never been here after years being here and we were really looking forward to it. Let me break it down this way tho:
Atmosphere – Fun (see pics)
Service – Ordered before 11:21AM and didn’t get food until appx 12:14PM. One couple walked out as they were waiting too long as well. Waitress was nice but kinda disappeared for a while.
Food – It’s a burger. Not bad but not best I’ve I had. Just average flavor. Crinkle cut fries were decent but nothing crazy special. Good pricing.
Don’t know if it was a bad day or what or I’m spoiled but good hamburger joints in Texas.
