The service and food were solid, as expected for an attraction site restaurant. While the meal may not be the main highlight compared to the views, everything was well executed and enjoyable. Many cities have landmark tower restaurants like this, and considering that Skylon Tower has been around since 1965, it’s a historic attraction that has been well maintained, both the restaurant and the tower.
Note that the restaurant has a minimum spend request on every guest, each guest need to order a main course, it was $44 min spend on that day during lunch time, dinner would be higher, but you could always double check before you go. It is reasonable, especially since dining includes complimentary access to the observation deck. After the meal, you can take the Elevator up to enjoy the panoramic views.
Overall, it’s a solid option when visiting Niagara Falls, especially if you want to combine dining with panoramic views on a date or for a special occasion.
Dessert was very tasty and definitely worth it. Try the cheesecake and you’ll never want to leave!
Servers were very friendly and loved to strike a conversation. They made the experience even better.
If you get motion sickness, it can be a little disorienting at first, but you get used to it.
minute time limit for sitting at the table. However there is an observation deck above the dining room where you can go for additional viewing at your leisure.
As I drove in, I paid the parking attendant $10 to park in the lot closest to the restaurant.
I’ve been here at different times of year and this is the minimal charge.
In the peak times It could be $15 or more.
When you arrive to the main floor, you check in at the reservation desk and get a ticket to ride up the elevator.
On your way to the elevator, there are photographers to take your souvenir picture. I often find them to be pushy, wanting to take a picture of me.
Unfortunately because I am green, I do not show up on the green screen.
There was a free photo opportunity just outside of the elevator with a Christmas backdrop.
There is a sign there, encouraging people to take pictures there.
I rode up the exciting elevator and was greeted by the very professional maître d’ named Angelo.
After he escorted us to our fabulous window seat we were greeted by our waitress Julia.
She was teamed with Vinny but he must’ve been working behind the scenes as I did not meet him.
Julia did a wonderful job of fulfilling every part of my order and she was diligent in filling my water and checking my table to make sure I’m enjoying my meal.
Another great server worth a mention is John. I’ve had his service on numerous occasions and he does a great job.
He recognized me and gave me a friendly greeting and a warm invitation to come back to the restaurant again soon. I really appreciated his acknowledgement, it made me feel very seen like a very important patron.
To start I had the Savoury Soup of the Day Vegetable broccoli.
For my main meal I ordered the delicious seafood Symphony. It is consistently a good choice. I found the rice was very flavourful but a bit hard and possibly slightly undercooked. I was still able to enjoy it and I believe this to be a one of. I know that if I had mentioned it to my waitress they would have replaced it for me but I didn’t because it was still done enough to enjoy.
I tried something new from the list of
Suggested accompaniment to the entrée. The Melody of Sauteed Mushrooms. These were very good. I would order again.
Overall, this is definitely a special experience for the spectacular aerial view scenery and for the dining experience as well. I highly recommend!
First, the views were absolutely stunning. The revolving dining room offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. It’s a unique experience that’s hard to beat and definitely a major highlight of the visit.
In terms of service, the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We felt well taken care of, and they made the experience smooth and pleasant.
When it comes to the food, however, it was a bit underwhelming. Most of the dishes we tried were just okay—nothing terrible, but nothing particularly memorable either. That said, the children’s menu roast beef was surprisingly delicious, and honestly one of the best things we tasted. It stood out compared to the adult meals, which lacked the same level of flavor and quality.
As for price, it’s what you’d expect from a tourist destination like this—slightly high but not unreasonable given the setting and the views.
Overall, come for the incredible views and solid service. If you’re going for the food, keep expectations modest—unless you’re ordering off the kid’s menu!
It was a different experience. First time in a revolving dinner room (had experience food revolving and it always fun) and I liked it! It is like looking forward to a scenery.
The view as expected was awesome. Keep it mind though that the full
revolution is an hour. So if you are thinking booking reservation to see the fireworks, you may not actually get to see it as you may be on the other side.
Food was ok … generous servings for sure.
Service was fast. They all move
fast! Sometimes I felt like I was rushed but I still ate at a pace I would normally do.
/refilling water. Food arrived fairly quick, tasted good, French onion soup, seafood symphony, Alfredo tortellini pasta, chocolate amaretto for dessert. All tasted good and better than I expected. The views were incredible, felt like we were sitting in the clouds. Same price as any high end restaurant, worth the price with the complimentary observation deck view after you’re done eating. Definitely worth at least one visit for a special occasion or if you’re in the area.
