Great stop in West Virginia – also known as Hank Williams’ last stop! Nice, small diner with great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. We both tried the cheeseburger with fries/tots. Burgers were excellent – juicy beef, soft bun, crisp onions, and great taste! Next time we’ll have to try the West Virginia hot dogs with homemade chili and coleslaw. Folks sitting next to us had them and they looked GREAT! Keep up the good work!

Absolutely phenomenal, The Virginia hot dog has a combination of sweet slaw and delicious homemade Chili. Truly the greatest hotdog I have had in my life and it’s $3. Absolutely unbelievably beautiful space and atmosphere, make sure to come here and sign the owners book!

Very few real deal shacks and dives left in America , stop here if ya wanna see one! WV dogs have a unique taste and this one is EXACTLY what it’s supposed to be! Lots of history here as it’s where Hank Sr passed long ago! Very unassuming, just a little hole in wall w a feels like 1960 touch , it was a glimpse into my youth in WV , and a bucket list stop for me that couldn’t have been better! Wonderful and nice folks , and some gritty locals made me feel right at home!

About the nicest bunch of people run this place. The hot dogs there make you regret ordering one, so you end up needing seconds! The woman running the kitchen even cut my 4 year olds hot dog up for her ❤️ super sweet! And the nice man gave her candy and they were so sweet to her ❤️thank yall!

What a gem! The staff were amazing, the atmosphere is just what you want in a little diner and the food was GREAT.
My husband and I both got Cheeseburgers, and they were excellent. No pre-made patties here – just a juicy, perfectly cooked cheeseburger.
I got fries, they were yum, and he got tots and they were better.
10/10 recommend. Make sure you stop, grab some good grub and honor Hank’s memory at his last stop.

This place is a total dive bar where the locals know each other by name. Super friendly people and great food. My cheeseburger was homemade, and tasted like my grandma’s. Definitely drop in if you’re in town. The story behind the place is cool!

This little, unassuming diner is more than the decorations, memorabilia and history. The people running it are super nice, friendly and helpful. We stopped during the day and it was relatively quiet. We had second thoughts once we went inside, because it was small and empty at the time, but the person was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple regular burgers and fries. It was a really, really good burger. It tasted like one of those burgers you’d get at your family cookout. Did I mention the prices are excellent! We really enjoyed everything about this place. Check it out if you want a cool place to check out.

Looks like a hole in the wall and it is but hands down the best hotdogs, hamburger and ice cold beer you will find. The Cole slaw and chili are made from scratch and they are to die for. We stopped in by chance from Kansas City and are glad we did.
