This place has gone downhill in the last few years. I’m convinced they hire baboons because the employees here are dumb. After working a 12hr shift I stopped by here tonight because it’s the only place open till 10 with a drive thru. I order the same dam thing every time I come here and these baboons still mess it up. First off the prices are never the same. One day it’s $11 another day it’s $9 so I naturally suspect my food is wrong because there isn’t any price consistency so I have them read out the order. This time the price was wrong so I had the girl at the drive thru read my order back and it was correct. She hands me my food and I go home. I open my food up and it’s not my order. How hard is it to open up a box to make sure the food is correct before handing it to me?This has happened multiple times and I’m done. This place has lost my business. I’m also a service worker and when you got me complaining you are genuinely incompetent. Do yourself a favor and go to lee’s down the road.

Arrived before 11am and was greeted by several smiling faces as I entered. Sign on the door says they open at 10:30am. They must because they already had seated customers dining in.

Skyline is always good. I always get two chili cheese coney’s and a 3-way. And their signature hot sauce goes great with that chili

What has happened to Skyline? As much money as they are charging, the expectation for the food should be of high quality. Yes, even for fast food! However, it is not. I do not know if this is only at the Trenton, OH location but the food here is hit or miss but lately a lot of misses. Yes, the flavor of the chili remains the same, the cheese is yummy but the portion sizes, the freshness of their food, and the texture of the hot dogs have changed. On 8/8/23 the food we were served was half good and half very disappointing for a staggering $48!! Not at all worth the value that is being charged. The hot dogs were chewy, very small and had been sitting for a long time. (The hot dogs just keep getting smaller & smaller!) I thought they had accidently used the children’s sized hot dog for my order! Nope. Ordered 2 coneys but the hot dogs were not edible. At $2.98 each this should be perfection on a plate. My coneys ended up in the trash. Please, PLEASE Skyline get different hot dogs. Ones that are larger (the length of the bun and bigger around than my pinkie), with flavor & not like eating raw hide. My family also got 3-ways. Again the portion size is much smaller while the cost for the food goes up. The spaghetti & chili portion is half what it used to be. The chili to spaghetti ratio is not the same. Tonight it was dry, very little chili which just ended up being sad. The flavor was good but at almost $9.00 for a regular 3-way, they should load it up! Why so expensive? I can go to the grocery and buy a whole can of Skyline chili for around $5.00. It would not hurt to add another ladel of chili to our spaghetti without an extra charge. We work hard for our money and look forward to a Skyline night. We aren’t able to come as often because it’s becoming too expensive. So when we do, Skyline should provide the value & quality for what we are paying for. Especially the cheese coneys. Any positive changes would be greatly appreciated.

We used to love coming here. The staff and the vibe were great. However, recently the newer staff has been rude and forgetful and they love to say they don’t have extreme cheese toward the end of the evening because they don’t want to shred it but they blame it on “management”. When I ask for light chili I almost ALWAYS get heavy chili, and this past visit I ordered a 3way with light chili and extreme cheese and the waitress came back and said “sorry, we don’t have any more extreme cheese so I just gave you regular cheese instead” and it had heavy chili on it. And don’t even get me started on how incompetent the evening drive thru crew is. They are careless, especially around closing time! Will be going to Liberty Skyline from now on.
