We stopped in this afternoon. It wasn’t busy. Our food was good. The store was clean. Our waitress took our order when she brought our drinks and brought the food when it was ready. She never came back to check on us, only came back to bring the check.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. They were quick to take my order and offered helpful recommendations, enhancing my visit even further.
The food was simply delicious—Skyline’s signature chili is rich and flavorful, served over a bed of spaghetti with a generous sprinkle of cheese. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their dishes.

I love this place and always try to stop in for a lunch or dinner when I’m visiting the area. I think the food is very good, but not gourmet or fancy in any way. It’s just something completely different from the rest of the fast food offerings out there. The prices are great, the service is even better and the atmosphere is clean and bright. Everyone that works at this location is very friendly and attentive. This week, I got the hot dog chili with onions, mustard, beans and cheese. At my request, they also gave me a few extra spaghetti noodles (Thanks for the bonus! I’m watching my diet.) Warm, gooey and delicious low-carb lunch. I’ll be back again soon.

First Time for me. My husband talked it up a lot. Not Terrible but not Rock My World Food. I got the 4-way and it was good. My husband got 3 cheese coneys but ended up getting a 4th if that tells you anything. I got the pineapple upside down cheesecake and it was a pleasant, unique dessert. So glad they had red cream soda. My husband got a Red Cream Soda float. I would do again which we will do before we leave Cincinnati. I will try the cheese coneys next time.

Busy, but served us quickly! Great food. Special note! Our server fell while bringing a meal out! The staff rallied around her. Liked the team atmosphere! My new favorite Skyline! Update one year later… Sophie was our server, the 3-Way, Loaded chili Bowl, and the Nachos were very tasty! Good news nobody fell! Will return! On we got xtra cheese!

I went for the chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries, and let me tell you, Skyline does not play around. When they say they don’t skimp on the cheese, they mean it. Each item was absolutely buried under a glorious mountain of finely shredded cheddar. It’s the kind of cheese pile that would make a dairy cow proud. I half expected a golden retriever to leap through the window just to try and snag some. Spoiler: I didn’t share.
The chili itself? Delicious. It’s got that signature Skyline flavor, savory, a little sweet, and uniquely craveable. But the real surprise star was the hot sauce. It starts off all sweet and innocent, like “Oh hi, I’m just here to add a little flavor,” and then BAM, suddenly you’ve got a spicy tango going on in your mouth. It lingers too, but in a good way, like the kind of spicy that reminds you you’re alive and probably need another bite.
The vibe inside? Totally fun. Aviation-themed décor gave the place a unique twist, perfect for an avgeek like me. It felt like eating chili at 30,000 feet, minus the turbulence and with way more cheese.
Bottom line: if you’re hungry, have a sense of humor, and aren’t afraid of falling deeply in love with cheddar, Skyline Chili in Covington is a must. 10/10 would smother my fries in cheese and joy again.

Had to try Cincinnati chili and ordered from one of the top rated. Delicious! Hit the spot after a long day. Ordered delivery to my hotel through DoorDash and food arrived quickly and still hot. Funnel fries were very sweet and still crispy.

After just arriving in Cincinnati I decided to stop at Skyline Chili. I told the cashier at the front that it was my first time here and told them it was to go. The cashier was very helpful and told me what was good there. The Coney hot dog with chili and cheese. (I ordered 3) and the spaghetti with chili and cheese. (I ordered the regular size) The order was literally ready in 2 minutes and I was out the door which was great. It was 8:00 and I was hungry. The restaurant seemed very homey. Great service, good food and fast. Give it a try! Enjoy!

I’m not from the area so this was my first experience at Skyline Chili. My first impression was of the portions of cheese on everything on the menu. It’s basically how my wife dressses everything at home so she was thrilled. Surprisingly it didn’t seem like too much, but I also love cheese.
I thought the flavor of everything was pretty good. The hotdog with chili and cheese was better than the chili and cheese “sandwich” (just a hotdog without the dog).
Pretty much everything was made with the same ingredients but in different combinations (the Taco Bell strategy) and it all mostly works. Overall, I thought it was good. I’d go again if there was one near me, but probably not often.
