Skyline is uniquely situated on top of the Virginian hotel in downtown Lynchburg. The restaurant has a good selection of beer and cocktails as well as some great appetizers. I recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer. The pork ribeye was cooked done and was very tender and I really enjoyed the beets, goat cheese and roasted potatoes. Portions were good and service was excellent. If you have gluten allergy, they are very accommodating however Skyline at the time of this posting only has 1 fryer so there is the possibility of cross-contamination. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely go back to try other dishes. Whether a fun night out celebrating something or just a romantic dinner for 2, would highly recommend Skyline if you are in the Lynchburg area.

Dinner was excellent and service was exceptional! My husband had the Chef special, which was filet and crab over sautéed corn—he loved it! I had the toasted salmon and polenta with asparagus which was cooked perfectly. My granddaughter enjoyed her dinner salad as well. All in all, it was such an enjoyable time at the Skyline!

Great place to go for a nice dinner and good view. As the sun was setting the skyline was beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food was really great. I ordered the “SKYLINE.BURGER” and it was cooked perfectly, prepared nicely, and overall was juicy and delicious. The cocktail was designed and made well, though the small ice did dilute the drink a bit fast. I prefer an old fashioned with just one large cube. Overall the food and service was 5 stars.

The Skyline is amazing! The food, atmosphere and the service were all top notch. I just wish they had the outside seating open. It was a bit warm with all the fire pits going. I really enjoyed the cheese curds and my salmon dish. My wife and son had the burgers and they tasted phenomenal and brought us back to one of our favorite places in Winter Park who serves our best burgers. When we come back to Lynchburg we will definitely visit Skyline again.

We had a wonderful experience at Skyline celebrating our anniversary. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful with menu suggestions. She remained attentive during the meal. We were also greeted with Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary which was a nice touch. We had the baked Brie appetizer. I had the salmon special with shrimp and a lemon aioli sauce. My husband had the trout. All selections were fantastic. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour beverage list. Drafts are $4 and several speciality cocktails $8. My husband tried two of their draft beers (great selection) and I had the Sky Tai which was delicious. We will absolutely be back!

Me and some friends came here due to a recommendation from a client at work and glad we did! The atmosphere was lovely, very modern. If you want something to drink that’s light and refreshing you HAVE to get the strawberry Fresca. Food was *chefs kiss* you can tell this establishment takes pride in their food. Every plate was wonderful and the presentation is astounding.

The staff were all so gracious and accommodating! I in particular can be a little picky and they didn’t show any ruffled feathers at all. We’ve never been disappointed at the Skyline Grill–their food is perfectly prepared, as are their drinks, the atmosphere is absolutely the best in the area, and the staff is superior in every way.
