Great hidden gem with water views and a beach area. Enjoyed a light dinner & drinks on a Sunday evening, only a few patrons so it was very relaxing. They just switched menus so the items I had “preselected” were not available. I was craving the soft shell crab sandwich, but it was no longer available. I understand they are seasonal. The calamari was also not on the new menu, not sure why as those should be an all year item.
The ceviche could use some tweaking, the Mahi mahi wrap was 3/5 so there’s some tweaking needed on the food. The vibe and view was really the best of our visit.
The resort looks well maintained and a great staycation spot. We will be back again!

We went for lunch today (Sunday) and easily got a table on the second floor. The food was really good for the most part, other than the po boy having stale bread and the berries on the salad being squishy. We ordered the crawfish po boy, brussel sprout salad with tuna (tuna was delish!), fish spread, and coconut shrimp pictured below. The yuca fries with the chimichurri aioli were very good! The service was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. I would eat here again and try something new!

Ok this defines “looks can be deceiving.” We pulled up to what looked like an old motel. Almost left. Then we walked around and around and found a hidden gem. 2pools, fire pits, coffee shops a beach and a great two story restaurant. Once again the restaurant looked like the usual fried food poor quality beach bar BUT it wasn’t. Great food. Great kind and competent service. Great views of Tampa Bay and the Skyway Bridge. We may ho back for a day pass!

Debbie and I met up with another 20 of our Tampa Bay Sailing Meetup Group members at the Skybar on Saturday, November 15 for drinks, food and fun. Our group had met there last spring and everyone enjoyed the venue, so we decided to meetup again there. As usual, everyone loved the venue. The elevated Tiki Bar has beautiful views of their beach, Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The management was great to work with and we were able to secure seating for everyone together overlooking the water. Megan, our server, was outstanding. She was pleasant, effecient and very professional. Everyone got their food and beverages quickly and with a smile. Personally, I love the whole atmosphere and grounds of this resort here that I signed up for their mailing list. Hopefully Debbie and I can sneak down there sometime soon for a getaway weekend. This resort is a real gem.

Great little spot to hang with friends by the water. The bar itself is inside the pool area of the hotel, but open to the public. View of Tampa Bay from the bar, tvs and a DJ. Solo artist played after the DJ, so not sure if this spot books larger acts, as it was my first time. I’ll be back… go check it out!

What a great beach cocktail bar! They have 2 levels and both levels have bars. The place is thru a hotel and the area is so cute and makes you feel like you’re in the islands somewhere. The food was awesome, the ahi tuna tacos were super fresh. Smoked fish dip amazing and we forgot to take a pic of the smashburger because we dive into it right away. Our waitress Kate was wonderful and it was her first night! You wouldn’t have known had she not said anything about it. The entire place is a vibe and also has live music. It will be a new go to for sure!

Our first visit to the new Skybar inside the SkyBeach Hotel. The resort-style hotel features a nice beach area, pools, and docks. The bar itself is an elevated tiki bar with excellent bartenders. The docks are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of space. They also offer several mooring balls for larger vessels.
I spoke with a guest who mentioned that the rooms were just okay, so I’ll leave that open to interpretation. My only concern was the pricing. My wife had a couple of house wines, and I had two modestly priced tequilas on the rocks with a splash of water, and our bill came to $67.00. We didn’t eat there, but the food menu also seemed quite expensive. They only have a food truck servicing the bar. It seems they are trying to match the prices of high-end Gulf Beach resorts.
The staff mentioned that for $50.00, you can get access to the beach and pools along with a $40.00 drink credit. We will most likely give it another try.

Fantastic spot to check out. Place is beautiful. Cocktails are great, they a nice mix of usual suspects mixed with local breweries and distillery offerings. Bar staff is fun and engaging. Really enjoyed the music there that sets the right type of beach vibe. They have two stages for live music, one by their beach and one by their larger pool area. That is set to get going Memorial Day weekend. Can’t wait!

Don’t blink as you could drive right by this place and if you do you are missing out. Nestled in behind SkyBeach Hotel and Marina you will wonder what you may be walking into. I can assure you this place is very clean, updated, and full of amenities. Amazing views of the Bay and you are right on the water with a great beach as well. Two story detached from the hotel building with an elevator for those that can’t use stairs. Downstairs and upstairs bars with awesome staff. Food was better than expected especially from from a trailer. My wife had the soft shell crab and it was awesome and I had the Prime Rib Steak sandwich. Great Cocktail and beer selections. Get out in the sun or don’t as you can sit in a covered pavilion or downstairs underneath in some fun chairs or couches. I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out.
