We’re Sky Lounge, and we’ve been the premier bar here in Springfield, IL, since 2018. We provide are a big city bar experience in a smaller city and offer self-serve craft beer, full kitchen and bar, video gaming and much more. Me and a friend visited here for lunch today. My first time here, she been here before. I love the way it look. Really nice. They have food too. Forgot to take a pic of the Spyder Roll I ordered though . Sushi Chef on deck, make it FRESH right in front of you. Different kinds of beer on Tap and reasonable price food too. Another plus they have sitting outside.

The atmosphere is modern and fun. The staff are very attentive and nice. It has a “wall” of craft beer spickets where you can sample different beers like Cherry Pie, or Chocolate, and they have a system in which you only pay for the number of ounces you pour at a time. They also have some wines that can be tasted in the same way.

Nice concept of being able to pour your own glass of beer, wine, or cider! Outside area offers plenty of shade with a nice breeze. Staff is friendly. Sushi is great (try the Girl on Fire). Bar food is pretty good as well. Overall nice experience.

I’ve been patronizing this place since 2020. Great place to meet new people and hang with friends. Awesome beer/drink selection, the food is so good. The manager is an amazing respectful guy but his night shift bartenders make it so obvious that they’re off some type of drug. As long as I’ve been patronizing this place it saddened me this past weekend to see such behavior. If you’re going to do drugs before clocking in or while on the clock, learn to maintain them and his/her behaviors. With that being said, I will not be returning to this place of business any time soon.

I had never been to a place like this where you pay by the ounce but it was great. You could try a few ounces of one beer to see if you like it or try them all (probably too many for that) and see which is your favorite. Our server was wonderful, she explained the process in a flash and we were filing our pints in no time. If you aren’t a beer drinker they got you covered too as they have about 5-6 different wine selections.
