I ordered 17lbs of fried shrimp for an event, with only a few days notice, and Sky City Seafood Market was amazing! They accommodated my order, called me back right away, and prepared the shrimp the morning of the event (we could see the freshly peeled shells when we picked them up) and the shrimp were so good. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Shillington was home to a seafood boil and fish fry spot. I was doubly surprised when I tasted their offerings. I thoroughly enjoyed their Healthy Combo salmon fillet with Cajun seasoning. The salmon had good flavor as did the veggies. I also tried their fried seafood combo. I really liked how lightly they breaded their seafood. Everything tasted fresh and wasn’t too oily. However I would have liked a little more seasoning in the breading batter. Their fries were ok. The chicken wings were fried just a little too long but I didn’t mind. The best thing about this location though? The price! Wallet friendly, indeed. This one’s going into my weekly rotation.

I got the seafood boils with shrimp, crab legs, lobster tail, potatoes, corn and broccoli. The taste was good. But I was very disappointed that I only got 5 shrimp in the boil and a ton of broccoli. The lobster tail was so skimpy could barely get any meat off of it. Less broccoli and more shrimp would be the ideal thing when spending $200 on four orders.

Mussels are SO good. I got them with garlic butter, Cajun seasoning, and mild spice. Big mussels lots of flavor. And the fried shrimps were tasty too.
