I would give them a -0 if I could. I hate when restaurants think you’re too stupid to know when you’ve been served OLD FOOD. This was our first time there which we were recommended by a friend ( who is also fired from recommending restaurants to us.) When we get there the man at the front counter was rushing us to order like they were super busy. Sir, it’s a empty and quiet Sunday afternoon, be cool. We waited until we got home to eat. My wife’s orange chicken tasted like it had been reheated, my ribs and rice from both dinners had that old refrigerator taste, and we were too far to bring it back. I will not be back and I recommend you don’t waste your money either. Also, a black dude jus6 walked back there and reached into the ice WITH HIS BARE HANDS to make a drink. No thank you. I’ll just learn to cook Chinese food at home.

Im not from chicago but I was in the area and was referred to this location for their wonderful food. It was late but I saw that this location was still open so I placed my order online through the restaurant’s website at 9:59 pm. Shortly after I received a call advising that location was already closed and the hours online were incorrect. As an establishment YOUR website has the wrong hours of operation which is very unprofessional and your online website should not allow online orders to be placed if you’re closed. I never received a confirmation the order was cancelled. This is just the second business day but the food transaction did post to my credit card statement no refund as of yet and no confirmation of cancel or refund. In the future I wont order here due to miscommunication. Chinese food is my favorite food and I am Very disappointed this happened because I really wanted to try them out.

This place use to be good. Lately the rice is hard, chicken soggy with grease and some pieces not done and the shrimp egg roll taste like something is missing. The shrimp low mein noddles were over cooked. I’m going to give them a rest.

I try to eat at Sky Chop Suey whenever I visit Chicago. This restaurant has exceptional chicken chop suey and shrimp fried rice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I usually phone in my order, but I came in cold this last time. There was one person who had already ordered and sat waiting, one person before me ordering. I ordered, sat waiting. One phone in person entered and retrieved her order. And though I hate waiting, and it was supposed to be a 20 minute wait, I felt as if mere minutes had passed. All was pleasant, the friendly and obliging transaction and peaceful wait. And the food was as enjoyable as the first time.
