In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head’s newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you’ve stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. The covered patio dining area, and massive outdoor bar, the shark bar, allows patrons to enjoy the Lowcountry climate and serve to fur

I will say that the people were nice. My server was Nicholas G. He is a great waiter. The atmosphere was good.
The food left a lot to be desired
The filet mignon was very bland
The vegetables and potatoes were ok
The Mac and cheese tasted like something you would get from a kfc.
We were looking for a pretty specific place for lunch one day during our vacation to Hilton Head: 1. on the water. 2. seafood, but not only seafood. 3. GF options. 4. a place that got great reviews. And we found it all!
We started with the GF fried calamari & shrimp and bacon hushpuppies (which I did not try, obviously). Yes, you heard that correctly, they have fried GF seafood, and it was AMAZING! Even those in our group who eat gluten said they couldn’t tell it was GF. I would go back just for that appetizer alone. The others seemed to really enjoy the hushpuppies.
I wanted so badly to get their brisket, but at $23.50 for a half pound ($47 a pound!), I just couldn’t do it. I have had brisket at Franklins and other Austin staples, and I just couldn’t pay that much for brisket. Even if it was on par with the legend (which is almost impossible), even Franklin does dream of charging that much for his world-famous brisket.
So, I settled for the club on GF bread. It was very good, but all I could think about was how it wasn’t brisket.
Both kids got the cheese pizza, and it looked delicious. My daughter said it was the best pizza she has ever had in her life, but she says that about every pizza she has.
Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their food and looking out upon the water was just what we wanted that day.
We would 100% go back.
Can’t beat the atmosphere here! We always sit outside or in the dining area but just loved our cozy Bar- Eve. The food was hot and delicious as usual! Had the Cod special, and it was tasty and unique. Drinks great too! Only negative of the night was the coffee with the delicious dessert as we doubt it was decaf as requested . Oops! Long night.
Definitely returning as Winter off season is actually awesome!
The manager even paid us a visit and was so nice and made us feel welcome.
The food was phenomenal. The selection was large and their seafood was fresh!
Thanks for the great experience.
Food was delicious, service was great.
