Family owed Bar & Restaurant. Was there for a double Birthday party. It was in the back of of the Restaurant building which they called the barn. It’s a room with 3 walls built with reclaim barn wood. Cute building decorated with a rustic look. White string lights with a cast Iron wood burning stove. It’s was a bit chilly, but it would be awesome in the spring, summer and fall. Food was very good, which it is definitely comfort food. Pork chops, ribs, chicken and cheeseburgers etc……Side dishes of excellent mash potatoes, blue cheese potato salad, and French fries. Our party was extra special with one of the couples we were with proposed to his girlfriend. Very special time! The only thing they do not have is coffee. Other then that Skrines Chop House was very, very good!

Holy giant, tender, juicy BBQ chicken sandwich. Bummed they were out of pulled pork, but on the other hand it lead me to this incredible grilled chicken so I can’t be too mad.
Nice and tight menu. They know what their strengths are, no need for a vast menu. Great beers on tap and a cozy fun environment.
Kevin was a fantastic server. He was always there when we needed something but he didn’t hover. Nailed our order and got it to us quickly.
Wish there were 10 stars to give. Can’t wait to come back and try the pulled pork.

Great food!! Owners are great people and always accommodating. Atmosphere is like being up in the North Woods. Great crowd that goes in there. The back patio is similar to sitting in someone’s Log Cabin with wood burning stove. Second floor is for Private parties… it’s huge !! Go there often.

This is by far some of my favorite BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich served with smash (mashed potatoes on the sandwich) is delectable. Service is quite average but im ok with it because the BBQ is so dang good. The owner is great though, they have a great upstairs space you can rent out for parties as well as a back beer garden that has a lovely wooden cabin homey feel.

Was very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. They have a small menu but everything is delicious. I had the steak sandwich while my companions had the ribs. The mashed potatoes on sandwiches is surprisingly good. Plan on going back for that steak sandwich soon

Only had dinner here once. My pork chops were a bit on the dry side. Portions looked small but were plenty filling. Bar is nice. Interior is very interesting, like a fishing camp log cabin.

Choose the burger for $10 . It came on a bread and butter size plate a bun, smash potatoes and a burger. I asked for condiments I was told they don’t have them. Lettuce, tomato and onion are as standard as ketchup and mustard disappointed. The flavor of the food was good but I want more for my money. I understand why a place that seats about 50 only had 4 people in the place.

The pork tenderloin is pricey, but worth it. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The other food is also solid, and the place has a good atmosphere. Upstairs room is excellent for gatherings.

One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had, and that’s coming from a Kansas City native. The addition of mashed potatoes on top of the sandwich is culinary brilliance. I’m blown away by this place. Definitely get to it.

Succulent juicy chicken great portions. The chops are unbelievable. They are a hit with the sliders and the potatoes some of the best in the city. Steak quesadillas second to none. Hands-On owner who was very customer friendly. You will be back. Baby backs meaty. Bring a girlfriend or a group of friends this is the spot.
