So the biggest problem with this place the price. I get it. Seafood isn’t cheap. But you can get whole seafood meals for the cost of one sandwich here that will just kinda taste “okay”. Staff was great and nice. It took 20 minutes to get my food and the people behind me got their order 10 minutes before I did which was odd after ordering after me. Even though there were a few dirty tables it was mostly clean inside. They did not have medium sized drink tops for to-go orders. The sandwiches had PLENTY OF MEAT. I will say though that the 6oz sides are very underwhelming. If you want to be full, I have a hard time believing you can get that way on that tiny side. Which doesn’t make sense compared to ordering french fries where the servings of those are easily 18 to 24 oz of potatoes compared to 6oz cup of mustard flavored potato salad. I want to see an oyster sandwich on the menu. I would give this place another chance.

The menu prices and choices are listed differently online then in store. Had the menu online pulled up and cashier was like ” I don’t know why it says that.” Place was empty when we arrived. It was pretty clean. A few spots had food and trash left in seats. Bathroom was clean aswell as drink station. I enjoyed the fish taco, but it was basic. Lettuc cheese shrimp and sauce. Spicy sauce was tasty. Shrimp was delish. Hushpuppies yummy. My teen son did not enjoy the chicken sandwich he ordered. Fries looked good but weren’t crispy. Overall not bad, but I wasn’t very impressed. Price $$. Atlease you could get free refills on the drinks. Wish they would make their own tarter sauce. Just felt very chain like. I have eaten here in the past. Feel like it use to be a bit better.

First time here did not disappoint! Great meal for the price. The portion sizes are very generous and I like the option to add on skrimp to any meal. Speaking of the shrimp, they weren’t dry and dessicated. They were surprisingly plump and juicy. Will definitely come back.

Here it is more present day 11/9/2024. Where I was extremely pleased 5 years ago, the quality and portion of food was completely different. I ordered the clam basket. They were way over cooked. So dry and crispy that you couldn’t even taste the clams. The young girl at the counter completely screwed up the order for my party of 4. None of us enjoyed our meal but we decided not to complain; however Skrimp Shack has lost us as customers .

Happened to see a Groupon deal and had been wanting to try the place. The customer service was amazing! John at the counter was incredible personable and helpful when taking my order. The food is fantastic! By far the best po’ boy sandwich I’ve ever had and the fried okra was amazing as well. With the deal the whole meal was only $10 but I would gladly play the nearly $20 full menu price! Will be coming back with or without the deal! Kudos!
