This place definitely went downhill over the past few years since it opened.
Employees very unwelcoming, couldn’t tell you if any of them had teeth because not one smile the whole time we were there.
Kitchen staff seemed very annoyed every time customers walked in, you could almost taste the discontent in the food.
Was definitely disappointed in the portions too.
Overall not a good visit, doubt I’ll come back.

I happened to have randomly come across Skrimp Shack, and I was immediately drawn to their skrimp and crab po boy, which I find unique because I don’t know of any other restaurants that serve po boys with shrimp/crab combo. It did not disappoint, and the spicy sauce made it even more delicious. Generous amount too! I look forward to coming back and trying out their other menu items!

I enjoyed my food. Recieved a large portion an everything was tasty. An was throughly impressed with the the patients an knowledge of the menu by throughly cashier. She was calm an informative..even when I myself was irritated by the people ordering that where taking so long to decide. I mean the cashier didn’t seem bothered by the customer smacking and popping gum in her face while ordering. Then only issue was the cleanliness. I noticed the Tea bucket definitely needed washing so I opted for fruit punch out of the machine .and there was batter and such sliding down the area behind the counter

The food was delicious. We ordered the family tray OMG. This is my first time teaching them macaroni and cheese. Don’t let the food it was delicious. The shrimp was good. The fish was delicious the french fries everything was good and we are family of seven and it fed us and we still have more left over The Royal family would like to say thank you for catering to our family.

The girl taking our order looked like we were bothering her. She took my order then dropped the popcorn shrimp the went back to taking orders. Wish I saw her wash her hands but I didn’t. The food looked good but the bread fell apart on the first bite. Poboys should hold firm and not slip apart as if the bread is a week old. It did not satisfy that urge I had for a poboy. The fries were OK but grease needed to be changed days ago. Overall it was my first time and probably my last unless the group eats there and I don’t wanna be left out.

Thw reviews about staff being unfriendly are so accurate. Went here thursday around noon. My friend is sick and placed an order for pickup, which I was the proxy for. When I arrived and got in line the woman at the counter ignored me completely and allowed quite a few people to cut in front of me and ask her for things. One guy needed a lid or straws or something, another woman needed a drink carrier which took the employee a long time to open and get. Once she was done letting people jump ahead of me she turned around and literally walked away without saying a word to me. No hello. No ill be right back. Nothing. I didnt say anything or get upset because I knew the order was already in I was just here to let her know i was picking up. When she finally decided to acknowledge my existence she let me know there were 2 orders ahead of me. I thanked her and went to sit on the bench. She called 2 names after a while for pick up that I heard and I assumed I was next. I sat there like an idiot until 1220. My sick friend checked in to see if I was okay and told me he’d received the order ready text at 12:12 and then sent me a screenshot. So I got up and went to the counter to tell her I got a txt almost ten minutes ago that the order was ready. She asked for the name again and went oh oops your order’s been sitting here i forgot to call it. ????? I asked if it was still going to be warm, without any attitude or tone, because my friend is sick. She literally threw up her hands and said “I don’t know. Im sorry. I forgot to call it. You see ive been busy” with attitude like im inconveniencing her. No offer to fix it. No offer to get a manager. Absolutely nothing but attitude because she made a mistake and obviously does not give a single you know what about any customer. The entire experience was awful, unprofessional and shocking that the management of this store employs anyone like her let alone allows it to clearly continue with how many reviews cite employee behavior. I would love for management to check cameras and see how long I waited, how rude she was to let people cut me and not acknowledge me, walk away from me and allow my order to sit on the counter and then give ME attitude when I simply asked if it would even still be warm after sitting on the counter for ten minutes *because of her*.

If I want fried seafood and don’t feel like cooking it, this is the only place I go. They the seasoning is perfect, the hush puppies, the po boys, literally all of it legitimately slaps! So the sides, they aight. I had collards once and way too vinegary, but if you like Glory greens out the can they taste like that but they add some stuff to it. Hush puppies and the fries are by far my 2 favorite sides. Im not exaggerating, the fried seafood here is flame! Tastes like your mama cooked it!

Everything was great. The only issue I had was with the oil used to fry the scallops. They were dark and I could sort of taste the oil. But the shrimp were fried to perfection.

Loved everything I had! Spicy fried catfish, collards, & sweet tea. Was a popular spot even in the off meal hours.
