Wow! We’ve been missing catfish for the last five years and in comes Skrimp Shack. We took home 2 pounds of their catfish and — HEAVEN! This is the best catfish I’ve had in years! The price isn’t too high, either! Their restaurant was nice and clean (we just went in, ordered, and took it home), and their workers are all very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be going back again and again for their catfish! Oh, and two pounds is plenty for 3 adults!

Really good fish. Lightly breaded and not greasy. The garlic sauce is great and the tartar sauce is has great pickle flavor. Hush puppies were perfect and bit sized. Way too hot to eat straight out of the kitchen though. Looking forward to trying more sides and sandwiches. It’s nice to have $7 lunch options that filling.

I just ate at Skrimp Shack in Harrisonburg for the first time- all I can say is Awesome! I don’t usually write reviews but that was a meal I won’t soon forget! Everything was cooked to perfection- from the catfish, the “skrimp” and even the fries. All were hot and fresh, the catfish was flavorful and tender, and the shrimp were amazing. The owner also made sure I had everything I needed for my to go order- cocktail sauce, tartar and ketchup. Even the bun was fresh and warm! It was massive portions and I couldn’t eat all of it. Highly recommended!

I really loved the experience that I had here. The food was so delicious! I had white cheddar Mac and cheese and grilled shrimp. The service was also especially appreciated. Levante was very helpful in advising us what to get and making sure we enjoyed our meals. Everything was also very clean! Overall I had a wonderful time and will definitely be heading back!

Lunch was great. My wife had the Big Cat and I had the Fat Flounder. Both meals were excellent and you can tell the fish is fresh. The French Fries were just as good and you could tell they are freshly made and not store bought. Great staff too, and very friendly too….
