Had a great smash burger! My wife had an awesome prime rib sandwich. We sat outside. The atmosphere was great. Skout Taphouse is pet friendly. We took our two dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Skout Taphouse!

Really cool location next to Lithia Park excellent atmosphere inside. The customer service was great. The venue is pretty awesome with some nice outdoor seating available. It would definitely return. A huge selection beers on tap. I ordered the brisket sandwich and my lady ordered the daily special which was the garlic chicken burrito or the vampire burrito.
As far as the food, a little more to be expected and desired, the brisket was OK. The vampire burrito lacked a decent amount of chicken and there was no avocado on it as stated so there is room for a little improvement on the food side otherwise a really wonderful experience.

When you order food you expect to know when it will be to the table if there is a long wait time. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the beginning and the drinks. Took over an hour in a half to get our food. Never will I come again!!!!

Everything we ordered was delicious, and with so many options on the menu, there’s bound to be something for everyone. The giant pretzel is no joke—the waitress warned us about the size, but we were still shocked when it arrived! It’s definitely big enough to share among a group of friends. Skout has a beautiful location right across from Lithia Park, with plenty of outdoor seating. Parking can be tricky since it’s limited in the area, but it’s worth the short walk, especially with all the great shops to explore nearby.

Delicious food in a beautiful location! We split an Albacore Affair and the Brisket sandwich and they were amazing. The bread was deliciously toasted the albacore was fresh and outstanding. The s’mores dessert was on a different level of delicious.

The Skout Taphouse is located in the bustling epicenter of Ashland’s cool vibe district … directly across from Lithia Park and Ashland Creek. It has open air seating with heaters and also indoor seating. Skout Taphouse does not brew beer but offers over 60 selections of craft beers, barley wine and ciders. My wife and I ordered the Orygun Cod &Chip which came with 3 large pieces of cod fried in a tempura batter, horseradish cole slaw, tartar sauce and plenty of crispy golden fries. Service was prompt and courteous, the beer was cold and the food made us happy. Make sure to try Skout Taphouse on your next trip to Ashland.

They have a great selection of beers, but also had a barley wine and mead on tap, delicious.
The pretzel is not cheap, like $15, but it was tasty and came with multiple dips. Definitely for sharing.

Stopped by a couple of times on our first visit to Ashland and loved this place. The open air atmosphere next to Lithia Park is great and both the smashed burger and fish and chips were excellent, paired with a delicious beer each time (the Wooden Castle and the Sea’N Red). A definite stop on future visits.

My wife and I were visiting Ashland on a cold, rainy day and stumbled upon Skout while “scouting” some restaurants. It was fantastic! We ordered the Dirty Fries (w/beer cheese and braised pork), The Bowl (fancy salad), and Tacos, Tacos, Tacos (also delicious). We sat at an outdoor table that overlooked Lithia Park with heat lamps to keep guests warm, and the atmosphere was delightful. Service was also snappy and fast with minimal wait time for food with a full house indoors. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend to anyone visiting Ashland or for a new local favorite!
