It was our first time at SKOG Haus Coffee & Tea on Van Ry.
I ordered a blackberry mocha. My wife and I shared it. I had a blueberry scone. She chose a cinnamon roll.
We sat down with our food between us and ate without hurry.
The coffee was sweet and smooth and rich. The pastries were fresh.
It was a good time.
We walked home in the sun.
This place is the perfect quaint cuppa happiness! The Baristas are super friendly and helpful. You will feel all the good vibes once you enter and the coffee, well that is just pure perfection!!! I had the pleasure of the large De Skog!!! Yummy!!! Get ready for full flavor with splash of cream. This place will have you doing the coffee dance! They had live music and it was great too. I really enjoyed the live guitarist ! Very conveniently located right off the rail and near major roadways. Follow the signs and your nose…. you will be glad you did!
They also offer a wide array of delicious pastries, but you better know those delights go fast! Cheers!
The pastries are locally made and there were so many options. I got the almond pear bostock, which was delicious and not too sweet.
I liked the atmosphere and there’s ample of seating. Easy access to transit and other spots.
Hather and the gentleman here are are exceptionally friendly. The coffee is too notch. We also had their Apple turnovers which were delicious.
I like that they know all the classics (flat white, cortado, etc…) but also have a few unique options that are not too crazy (like not drenched in sugar and syrup) such as their “De Skog”. Many places that have their own unique menu items end up just not really tasting like “coffee”, but not this place!
Took gracious care to give me just what I intended.
Just off I-5. Stopped while headed south, so glad I did.

Place have kids table but all people inside come for work and sitting hours so not so much comfortable be with kids
