Portions do not disappoint. Pancake was the size of a full plate and nice and fluffy. Prices are best I’ve seen in years.

It was our first time here. When we walked in we were not greeted by anyone. We sat down and had to wait a few minutes for someone to bring our menu. She acted very uninterested in serving us. Brought drinks, took our order, and when she handed us the food that was the last time we saw her. The check was dropped off with the food but we didn’t realize because it was face down under a pile of napkins. Service was terrible. Food was mediocre. Prices were decent. Probably won’t be going back unless it’s to order take out.

As I was traveling I found this unique small town gem in Winchester, TN. I was told it started in 1976 and changed hands a few times. The original owner Skip was a big guy who loved food and famous for his large thick hamburgers. He passed away but his legacy is still going and I liked it.

Absolutely fantastic! They serve country cooking, pintos and cornbread, turnips, white beans! Their hamburgers are delicious!!! Man, their home fries are to die for, I had to get a to go box for the few i couldnt eat, they’re to good to leave behind!! Very friendly environment, they have a juke box!! I’ll certainly be coming back!!

This is a nice homey restaurant, more of a diner since it also as a counter. I was alone, so perched there. The food was much better than expected, including the piece of pie I had (not all desserts are made there). The service is casual but excellent. I also liked the pricing, as cheap as a full meal at a fast food joint.

Very pleasantly surprised! I had the catfish plate with side salad & baked potato. My husband had the chicken with green peppers and onions and a baked potato. The chicken was tender, moist and with the perfect crunch. The baked potatoes was cooked to perfection and wasn’t dry at all.The catfish was delicious and not dry. Our now new favorite place!
