Today I went for lunch, again I waited at the door for awhile and then even longer at the table I CLEANED MYSELF. The busboy took the glasses off the table and walked away as if he was done, I asked for a rag or if the table could be wiped off and he handed me a dry rag off his shoulder. There was still trash, crumbs, droplets of drink on the table and he was moving on to the next table as if it was normal to sit at a dirty table. The waitress is clearly new, she rushed by us in a hurry saying she would be right with us and “ I need help back here”, to us, not to other workers asking for help but clearly telling us she can not handle the tables on her own. She mislabeled the tickets and orders got swapped so the kitchen was confused and came out asking her about it and then us about our order. She did not explain what was in the side I ordered when I asked so that could have been an allergy problem had I not looked at it before biting into it. When our meal was brought out she had a young tall guy help her bring out my plate and my boyfriends plate, TWO PLATES TOTAL, and he dropped fries and shrimp on the ground from one of our plates. He did apologize but wouldn’t take the price down at all, and then walked out holding three plates to the next table a few mins later and never dropped anything off those.
Just a horrible service experience all around, I won’t be back. I’ve given it a chance for breakfast and lunch a both have been horrible experiences.
Awesome prices and a great menu.
Chicken and Dressing was Fabulous!
Meet and three, Breakfast all day Sunday.
They were great to accommodate my gluten allergy.
I liked the grilled chicken it was tender and moist. The yams were out of this world I have to say. The cole slaw was plain but tasty. Next is the green beans they were good with alittle kick from the black pepper.
I had a salad with honey mustard but they make there own ranch dressing in house I hear. They put boiled eggs cut in half which I really liked. The prices were very reasonable for the amount food I ordered too.
Checkout the Elvis party room.
Last but not least ice cream with hot chocolate drizzled on top. Oh yah….
The restaurant itself is a country home town feel that I loved. The whole restaurant was newly renovated. The 1950’s style bar feel is a nice touch. The people in the town are very warm and friendly.
My waitress Jessica was friendly and did a great job.
I recommend this restaurant if you are in town or just passing through. Let them know I sent you.
Peace out be safe
