Nice sub spot! Great food at awesome prices! Friendly staff and clean establishment! I would return at least 1 a week! Had the turkey sub and a sweet tea it also came with chips and a pickle. All under $15 bucks! I would recommend you stop by if you’re in the area. ❤️

First time, had the turkey sub. Absolutely delicious and came with a yummy pickle (nobody includes a pickle anymore- It reminded me of home).
The sub bread was soft & delicious, ingredients fresh! The staff was super friendly! Will be back the next time I come to Lake City!

First time here, everything was so good. The sweet tea was better than mom’s. I got full on half of the Tiger sub! The people are super nice and I spent $13 plus well deserved tip. Eat in was comfortable but a little loud/echoed.
I’ll be back for sure. Thanks!

This had to be The Best sandwiches we’ve ever had! I’ve never even heard of steamed subs, but I never want them any other way. We both got The Godfather, and it was hands down the best food! People were super friendly & it was quick service. I’d stop here every time I come through this area. Thank you!

Skip’s is one of those staple local places in the community. Most of us who grew up in Lake City have fond memories of skipping school to get a Skips subs. Or even better having a high school teacher give you a pass so you would go pick them up a sub for lunch. Today I had the salad with ham and chicken with their oil and vinegar and special seasoning. Greeted by a friendly smile and quick service. The price has gone up over the years but no more than any other restaurant.

The Godfather sub was very good. The place inside is basic but feels like a local joint. Definitely the best subs your going to get in Lake City.

First time customer. Upon entering this establishment I was excited to try a salad as recommended by someone who’s opinions I hold in high regard. I ordered a small grilled chicken salad and asked for no tomatoes. My total was $13.65 and I tipped $2.05.
I know this is a deli, but why have salad on the menu if it’s just gonna be sub-par? (Pun intended)
As the associate prepared my “grilled chicken” salad, she pulled a piece of meat from somewhere, warmed it up in the microwave and nestled it on a bed of finely shredded iceberg lettuce. I mean come on!! Not even fresh grilled chicken or mixed greens?! Anywho, once she handed me my small salad, I asked if she included the boiled egg, by which she responds “yeah unless u paid for extra egg.” Well, when I got home and opened my salad, there was HALF a boiled egg on top. How much more would I have had to pay for the whole egg? Also, to add bacon bits would’ve been an additional $4 which I declined. Lastly when I checked my receipt I was charged for an extra pack of dressing unbeknownst to me.
This salad is a joke. I’ll be inviting the person that referred me to Skip’s Deli out on a luxury dining experience pretty soon because she deserves better.

My wife went here this afternoon and got a roast beef sandwich and banana pudding with a couple of cookies and pink lemonade. Sandwich was on point and we definitely will have to come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Decided to try this little hole in the wall Deli when I was working in Lake city. I like to try local establishments and this one was right around the corner. When I first arrived I was not impressed with the atmosphere but it really is the food that matters. I ordered my roast beef sandwich and I asked about chips and what I noticed was that there were pre-portioned potato chips in bags that they gave with the sandwich. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world but it seemed a little hokey that they went to Costco and bought a huge bag of potato chips and then separated them into smaller portions instead of have the individually packaged chips. Also all the drinks were either in bottles or you could pour yourself some iced tea from a couple of pitchers. The sandwich wasn’t bad but it was definitely not extraordinary. I don’t think I will visit this little Deli again but now I know and I definitely hope they succeed as I have been told they have been in town for a long time.
