Was totally skeptical when a friend asked me to meet them here for a meal. As a 90s child I had low expectations of Skippers, but this place was amazing. The food was great the restaurant was clean, and the All you can eat deal is worth it 100%.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! First, noticed how CLEAN it was, with no fishy or grease smell. Second, we were greeted by a friendly counter person who asked if we needed a tour of the menu – answered all our questions nicely. Third, the chowder and the fish was WONDERFUL! Hush puppies were good too. (Turns out the counter guy is the owner.)

Good fish and chips option.
The fish can be battered or breaded. The chicken is excellent.
All you can eat option starts with two proteins (battered fish, shrimp and chicken recommended – clams are “meh”). Then you go back and add more as you go. They give you chowder which is ok, coleslaw which is good.
The inside seating is clean and more upmarket than you might expect.

I haven’t been here in years. Wow, has the place changed. Service was great, and the food is yummy. I’ve always like skippers. We got the true cod and chowder. I’m surprised with the chowder, but in a good way. The decor changed over the years. Definitely, up to date with today generation. The menu has changed a lot, and has added other types of fish. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try out the newer options.

This place has gone through what seems to be a massive upswing. When I initially visited this restaurant in 2018 it was highly disappointed and disinterested because the food, the service, and atmosphere was so bad. However in 2023, this place has been significantly revamped. From the service, the atmosphere, the food, the overall quality, the prices – ALL 1000% better. It is probably my gf and my favorite hidden gem in Silverdale, WA now!

Tonight I went to Skippers in Silverdale. I have lived in Kitsap most of my life and had never been. Last week a great friend of mine (Peter King) had mentioned that this seafood restaurant was a “true staple” of Silverdale. He went on to say that every week after a hard session of crossfit with his workout partner “Burger” they go to Skippers for the bread bowl clam chowder (shared dish) and the all you can eat fish baskets and fries. I told Peter King that it sounds great but also sounds really expensive. He went on to tell me that he and his workout partner “Burger” always use the Valpak coupons and “save a bundle”. I was delightfully surprised with the quality of the food and the great service we recieved by the staff. I will absolutely be returning, that is as long as Peter and Burger don’t eat all the chowder before I get there! Thank you Skipper staff and thank you Peter King!

I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. The food was ok. The prices for the combos are a bit on the high end for what you get. I recommend you just get all you can eat. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money. On the plus side. A very clean and well managed establishment.

There are no skipper’s anywhere n south king county it’s been years since I ate at skipper’s. and it was a Verry nice CLEAN establishment, I will be back….With the Family. the only thing is the fillet pices where Small. I use to work at skipper’s. and the fish cportons where cut 2.o now there 1.5 Oz and prices were a little high but can you usually forget about it with the first bite. The fish was Good. Thank you I will be back for that verry good food…..I felt really good walking out full.
