The experience I had at skippers can be best expressed in 3 parts. To begin, the Phillies they provided on my double cheeseburger were nothing short of exceptional. I took a few bites and had to stop because of how delicious they were. Secondly, my side of mozzarella sticks made me reflect upon the other fast food I had in the past. Not only were the spices perfect, but they were cooked to a golden brown with cheese that stretched every time I took at bite. My final main point was the main course itself: the double cheese burger. To say this burger made my evening would be the understatement of the decade. Juicy, tender, and cooked to a perfection that I have yet to experience in my lifetime as a fast food eater. On top of all of the this, the service was perfect. I was served by a nice lady who asked several times if we needed any napkins. I was so blown away that I called my mother to tell her about the great role I had at skippers. I look forward to going back to skippers when I return to Miami.

We came to visit one of the universities and decided to have lunch here. This seems like a cool college hangout. I was happy to see they had gyros and waffle fries with special sauce. This was a great lunch.

I got the bacon burger with a side of waffle fries. The burger was definitely the star of the meal. The burger was juicy, the bacon was crispy, and it was served without mustard or cheese, exactly as requested. I really liked that the price included the side of waffle fries. The fries were cooked well, but I felt like they needed a little more seasoning of some kind that ketchup, salt, nor pepper could supply. Service was friendly and quick! Would absolutely recommend and would visit again. The chairs were a little uncomfortable, but I don’t think anyone really cares in a warm, welcoming place like Skipper’s.

Very tasty and fresh food. I had an authentic, Gyro. Not frozen meat. It was so fully loaded, I could hardly get a bite on it. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. So many other items on the menu to choose from. I originally thought about getting a burger or chicken sandwich, but was surprised to find Gyros were served, as well.

New to Oxford and this is a spot I’ll be visiting frequently… Great selection of sandwiches and other pub favorites. Loved the Italian beef even though it was a bit soggy. Waffle fries are amazing. Super crispy and flavorful… Prices aren’t bad either. Great spot for game day or just a hang with friends.

I have been coming here since the late 80s (little sibs weekend) although since graduation in the mid 90s I only get to Oxford every 3-5 years. The atmosphere is just like when I attended Miami in the early 90s and I love that. Food was awesome as usual although the cheese sauce seemed off/different than before. The student staff does a great job.

We stopped here on our way out of town and really enjoyed ourselves. My burger was delicious and everything was reasonably priced.

The foods fine, but place is a bit small and is too crowded to move around, someone literally stole my seat. They should invest in a bigger restaurant or have a limit on how many people can come in.

They put a god damn tomato on my Philly cheese steak and charged 25 dollars for that and a side of 4 mozzarella sticks
