We rented a pontoon for the day from Skippers for our family of 8 and we all had a blast!
The process to book online worked out well and when we arrived Troy had everything ready for us – the boat was in good working order and the sit-upon tube was perfect for our needs. 5 hours was the right amount of time for our daily rental – we toured around the area (sightseeing the beautiful homes and visiting the Dam and Goat Island), found a couple coves to relax and float, and of course enjoyed lots of fun tubing on the water. When we returned back, the crewman was ready for our arrival, the checkout was easy, and the price for refilling the gas was very reasonable.
We’ve eaten at Skippers in the past and always had a good meal and we enjoyed their AMAZING fireworks display on July 4. This was our first boat rental but now that we know how EASY it was, we’re looking forward to doing it again.
Kudos to Troy and his team for running such a great local business!

We really enjoyed the pontoon and the customer service was AMAZING . We rented the pontoon for 5 hours and it was very good on gas because we went from one side of the lake to the other side. I had a almost two year old and he absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend Skippers on Lake Greenwood and we will be back!

We rented a 10 person pontoon and tube and took out 6 young adults. We had an amazing time. Water was the perfect temperature for fun in the sun. Skippers was awesome to rent from. Highly recommend. This was our second time and we will rent again from this great company.

Love this place, been going there for many years. Troy and Cole are doing a great job. High praise to the kitchen, the Onion rings are hand breaded in house and not out of the freezer!

Our pontoon rental experience could not have gone much better. Troy is very accommodating and was great to work with and we hope to make this a regular visit! The lake is beautiful and great for trolling around looking at homes or any type of water activity! Very clean and huge! The 24′ Tritoon was in great condition even ran about 23 mph with 4 adults which was a great speed if you needed to get somewhere.

We rented jetski and pontoon boat from Skipper. Tory and his staff were very friendly and made our day on the lake enjoyable. The water crafts were clean and worked very well. They are also well stocked and reasonably priced with beer/wine/ice cream. Since restaurants are closed on Monday, access those these supplies was VERY nice.

We rented a jet ski for my daughters birthday and the staff were amazing. It was her first experience on one and they were incredibly patient and helpful despite the fact that it was packed! Food was utterly delicious and the staff were kind and attentive. It was a perfect day!
