We visited Skinny Louie on Friday night after seeing over 21,000 reviews, so expectations were high.
We ordered 2 burgers, 1 fries, and 1 shake. First, they forgot the fries, and then they forgot the shake as well. If I hadn’t gone back and asked, I honestly don’t think I ever would’ve received it.
What made this worse was that there were 7–8 staff members just standing behind the counter, yet somehow none of them could get a simple order right.
Then we tried to use the bathroom. After waiting 10–15 minutes, the door finally opened… and it was their own employee. Right after that, another employee went in. With that many staff on the floor, it really felt like employees were killing time in the bathroom while customers waited.
The burger and fries were actually good, no complaints there.
But honestly, the management here is a complete disaster.
Way overhyped. The food is decent, but the operation needs serious fixing.

Hey bro, if you wanna eat burgers and have a good time and have good vibes and have a great meeting in your mouth and beyond exceptional fries come to skinny Louis bro this place is absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t want to eat burgers at any other place. just truly amazing 10 out of 10 must try again. I don’t think I can eat at another burger place again and the cashier guy was amazing. Great service. He got our order correct the first time know any extra questions truly amazing five stars.

I haven’t had a lot of smash burgers but this definitely beats most other fast food and this is coming from someone who eats in n out on the regular.

I’ve been wanting to try Skinny Louie since it became viral. Last night, I was walking nearby and decided to pick some a burger up dinner. The menu is small but it’s perfect. I tried the applewood bacon burger and fries with the Louie sauce. Everything was finger licking good. The burger was full of flavors and the fries were cooked to perfection. The fries also paired very well with the sauce. The service was great as my order was ready within minutes. I also loved how the burgers are made openly and it was evident that the establishment was clean. I will definitely return to try a milkshake and have a delicious burger again.

Finally came here to see what all the hype was about. Although the burger was good and the fries. I wouldn’t say it’s the best burger in Miami. There is definitely way better burgers than this. It’s an excellent smash burger but there’s a lot of competition out there now doing the same style of burger. It’s definitely the perfect hangout over burger or a late night munchies

A solid, consistently decent “smashed style” hamburger joint. As of this review they offer a succinct, straightforward menu featuring three beef burgers, which you can adjust the number of patties (single, double or triple). Additionally they allow you to swap out beef patties for “impossible” plant-based patties, and you can even sub out the default wheat bun for a Gluten Free bun! Save for that, they also serve french friess and have three flavors of milkshake. This location has been quite popular in the neighborhood since it opened, and sometimes it’s difficult to get a seat, though a lot of folks just do takeout.
