Hands down the best breakfast place in west plains. Best service. Best food. Best prices. We love the ladies who work in here, they make you feel at home. All the fruit is super fresh. A perfect country breakfast, with so many healthy options. I’m dairy free and my husband is no carbs no sugar and we never have any issues. They are very accommodating. 10/10 recommend skillets. I’ve never seen mixed fruit have such an amazing selection of mixed fruit. It’s usually just grapes and melons at other places, and this had one of every fruit which I really appreciated. If you get the chance you definitely need to eat here. You’ll love the sweet ladies who serve you.

The ladies here work so hard. They inspired me. The hostess was taking phone calls, orders, waiting list, and taking people to their tables. And she had such a good attitude. Our waitress was so sweet. Our food came out fresh and hot and really soon after we ordered. The prices are a little high, but it’s a great place to eat. It’s a local, small-town eatery with a wonderful atmosphere. This is a place where you can come and feel right at home.

Been going to skillets for 3 years since we moved here. We get the eggs Benedict with regular bacon. Today, we asked for the sauce on everything and the waitress said, it comes that way. No mention of extra cost. It came with sparce sauce – like they put the same as normal only dribbled it over everything. I asked for more sauce and I got a cup filled about a quarter of the way – about 4 big tablespoons. My bill came and I got charged $1.50 for the sauce on the hash rowns and $3 for the small amount of extra in a cup. The charge was $4.50 for holindause sauce. I mentioned it at the register as it was rediculous. No adjustment to the bill. We never got so little sauce on the plate to start with and when we ordered extra, we got a full cup of sauce. Not too happy about the rip off. Probably won’t be back.

I dont lie….. there was a mistake. The stuffed bell pepper was good, but needed longer in the oven (rice was still tough).
So why the 5 stars…..
Stacy, my server took care of me and got me the chicken quesadilla. It was phenomenal. I enjoyed the one bite of the bell Pepper but they won me back over with the chicken quesadilla.
Also that coleslaw was pretty good.
My only complaint is watch out for their times because they close at three! That’s not worth taking away a star.

Update: Once again out showing property and had to stop and treat ourselves. Everything was delicious…again!
Out showing property and stopped in for breakfast. I’ve never had a bad meal here. This is a bed breakfast burrito. Hubby had bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. Didn’t get a picture of that. Fruit was fresh and delicious. Everything was so good! I need to go there more often!
