We finally got a chance to try the Skillet Restaurant for breakfast and it was great overall! The food was delicious and reasonably priced! Although it was very busy, the staff was attentive and prompt. The restaurant is small and the wait can be long, but it’s worth it.

This is one of my favorite consistent spots for weekend breakfast food. The owner, the waitstaff and cooks are phenomenal. It’s a great environment. You will have to wait to be seated, you will have to wait about 10mins for your food but it will be spot on when it arrives. Get a cup of coffee and enjoy ya food and conversation. All walks of life frequent this place. I can wait til this spot expands and gets the space next door to it

Nice little restaurant with a great breakfast. While visiting the area for a month, we visited several times. We had the Early Riser Wrap(on the lunch menu but available for breakfast) and the Country Benedict. Service is good and very quick. Small restaurant with tables and lots of counter seats. Would definitely return when in the area.

The staff puts on extra charges that are not on the menu. They charge you a to-go tax, a hospitality tax, and a gratuity tax of 10 percent even if you pick up an order. The food is OK but the customer service is bad. If the quality of the food justifies the price it would be different, but it’s basically waffle house. I recommend Eggs up n Grill around the corner.

Been coming here for a year when I’m in town, specifically for the biscuit and gravy. Last 2 visits very disappointed with the food portions. 2 eggs now looks like 1 egg. A piece of chicken the size you’d get on a slider! Noticed bacon is half the size also. The waitress wouldn’t give me an itemized ticket so I stand at the register for 5 minutes before a different waitress pulls my order up…$16 DOLLARS! Chicken, eggs, gravy biscuit and drink. 16 dollars for basically a kids meal. Tastes great….Less filling. So, goodbye Skillet. It was a good run…
