I was looking for a breakfast restaurant in the area and I stumbled across this one after being so undecided and driving in circles. I was a little skeptical, but I thought I’d just give it a shot. I am so glad I stopped by here. I’ll try the catfish, grits, French toast, and eggs… this was the best I’ve had in quite a bit of time. This place is better than a lot of big chain restaurants. I’m talking about Doodably delicious!!!EVERYTHING!! A1. Sorry I didn’t think to get up before picture but the appearance and everything was great start! I will be back! The waiter was so courteous and accommodating. I really appreciate the service.

Skidoe Cafe & Grill never disappoints! The food is always delicious. I usually order through DoorDash, but when it was down today I looked them up and called in instead—and I’m glad I did. The French Toast Deluxe plate is a favorite for the kids, and I always get the breakfast skillet with grits and bacon. Consistently great food and highly recommended!

I’m not sure who they had in the kitchen today but send them home !!! I had scraps for potatoes and they didn’t taste cooked through & why is there onion or garlic powder in my egggs ??!!! I really want to rate this a zero because the French toast wasn’t even good enough to finish I am disgusted no lie.!

I’ve been here twice! This place is a true gem… . The vibe is chill, nice music. The young lady at the counter is very pleasant & hospitable ☺️. The food is amazing , I had a vegetarian skillet & the second time I had waffles and hash browns… OMG. Can u say . On point. The potatoes…… No added condiments required…. Priced reasonably.

The shrimp and grits I couldn’t believe it. It was literally grits with butter and sautéed shrimp on top. No seasoning just parsley and butter. Couldn’t believe it.
The steak skillet was a no. The steak meat was ground so small you would think it was ground beef. I didn’t like the flavor, the cheese was not melted which told me it isn’t fresh. I asked for my eggs on the side and the put them in a drinking cup. Not only did they come in a cup they were super runny.
Waffle was good but very thin to be a Belgian waffle.

Smh what can I say food was okay very disappointed how it was presented, I got a steak skillet told them to put the eggs on the side, they put them in a cup. I also got the shrimp & grits which was totally unacceptable for the price and didn’t taste like nothing but butter. The waffle was a waste of money and they have the nerve to only accept cashapp or zelle. Was my first and last time going to this restaurant. Jus look at the picture totally unacceptable for a restaurant

Whoever fried this catfish, all I can say is it made me want to slap my mama . Also it was reasonably priced. I googled and found this place, thought I’d try it bcas its black owned. Good job!!

The only negative thing I have to complain about is the schedule. I came into the door with my mind set on ordering ‘smothered pork chops’ and mashed potatoes. However!! A regular patron was enjoying a full platter of French toast and a skillet. Immediately from first sight, smell and even sound my order was changed to “I’ll have what he’s having”!
Personally ordering breakfast, others in my party did have lunch/dinner options, I was able to partake.

Do not order for delivery from this restaurant the phone number doesn’t work so that you can call and confirm or even mention anything about your order. The grits here is never done. Couldn’t enjoy my breakfast sandwich Yes, I love butter, but I couldn’t taste the meat or the eggs because the bread was soaked in butter I have ordered from here 2 to 3 times a week just to see if it was just a mistake. No, it’s not a mistake. This is a regular thing here at this restaurant.
