Have eaten here in the past and was Ok. This time we had a reservation and told we had to wait which was no problem even though the place did not seem crowded. We waited a very longtime for our drinks and apps it figured it was a holiday weekend and maybe just backed up. Food finally came and Chicken Parm looked terrible. When brought to waitress attention she went in back and came back and did offer take off check. No manager or anyone came over to check on us or anything. We will not be coming back.

Our waiter tonight was absolutely amazing! Nigel was not only polite and professional, he approached us with humor, positive energy and a personality that instantly put us at ease. The food was perfect and the drinks were very good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good night with good people!

I made reservations recently on a Friday night at Sketties. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. There were 5 of us – 4 adults and a 2 year old. The waiter was friendly, fast (which is important with a 2 year old!) and informative about the specials. The pork special was awesome and the other adults at the table loved their meals!

Very good food and great service. After seeing a few negative reviews I was concerned. I called to see if there was a wait, gave my name and went. Our table, for 4 adults and 2 children (high chairs) was ready when we got there 20 minutes later. The service was fast and friendly, the food was great. Ample parking and room inside to move around with the kids.

One of my favorite places to go in the area. The food is good, the bartenders are friendly and on top of things and the back area bar has a great vibe and attractive design. The place can get crowded so sometimes you’ll just want to have a drink and wait for a fresh brick oven pizza to take out. Awesome spot!

We love this place. Every year we vacation in Ocean City and this is the last place we go before returning home. Atmosphere is great, they have live music, great food which is not too expensive, great service, and the place is right across the street from a marsh with Osprey nests – so while the food is being prepared we take the kids outside to watch the Ospreys fly and land. It’s a really nice place – great for the family!

Our large group was seated right away and our waitress, Mary Beth, was pleasant. But despite being a slow evening in the restaurant the overall service was slow. There were plenty of wait staff available but water glasses were filled once and only again when we asked. Wine was poured for tasting, glasses were filled for other guests but not the taster. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. (We all agreed the next time we would just order them.) The main entrees were “okay”…some too spicey, others bland. Portions were much too large to be enjoyed in one sitting and more than two thirds of our group chose not to take home the balance. Hostesses on our way out seemed more interested in texting than then they were to offer us a good evening. For some, this was our second time visiting Sketties; unfortunately perhaps our last as well.

Great view from the back bar and friendly servers. Carl at the bar was great. We had the south phily pizza and seafood pasta, both were good but the pizza was better. Mussles were a little gritty. Would come back.
